Looking at the table i'd say everyone from Newcastle above will be ok,so that leaves 3 from 7,Norwich are virtually down now,so it'll be between Bournemouth,Brighton,Burnley,Villa,Watford and West Ham for the remaining 2 spots.

We've still to play Bournemouth,Brighton and Watford at home, plus Norwich and West Ham away,if we could get 10-12 points out of those fixtures we'll be safe, even 7/8 points wouldn't be a bad haul, surely we're capable of nicking a couple of wins against some mid-table sides on our day, admittedly we'll have to improve, but it's by no means impossible for us to garner the points needed,it would help if we could pull a rabbit out of the hat against Leicester this weekend, all the other strugglers have managed to take points from the top 6,and this doesn't half ease the pressure in the 6 pointers.

On the run-in, there are always a few unexpected shock results that throw the computations
out the window. Let's hope we're on the right side of a couple of em.

I think Watford and West Ham will be fine. Norwich are pretty much gone, I'd say it's two from us, Villa and Bournemouth.

All down to who buys what this window, theres a few sides that will more than happily throw 50m at trying to stay up.

We could well be in the bottom 3 by the time we play Bournemouth, and by a point or 2.
That game could all but end our season in the sun.

Just hoping we can get a body or 3 in, to give the whole place a boost, and we find last seasons West Ham moment v Leicester or Arsenal.

I think no win in the next 4 will see is drop.

48 points up fir grabs yet and the likes of Newcastle Everton and Palace could easily get dragged into it. Even shef Utd could implode

Southampton doing well. They won’t keep it up but will however keep creating chances. As long as they have Ings on the end of the chances they’ll score enough.

Watford have too much character to go down. Great man manager there now.

Bournemouth are in a real slump. Nothing new there though they always go on a winless run and manage to turn it around. Again with the likes of Wilson, King, etc they’ll create. But will concede.

Newcastle won’t go. Like Watford have to many ******** for it to happen.

Norwich gone.

Villa. Need more to step up to the plate. If they get a goal scorer alomg with McGinn and Grealish they might just stay up.

Burnley. Not creating. Absolutely no character or ******** whatsoever. Barnes aside if we get further dragged into it who will roll there sleeves up for us? I don’t see any fight in any of them. Concerning.

As things stand, I agree.

Us, Norwich and Bournemouth.

Brighton have some very tricky looking remaining fixtures, but think they'll stay up.

Just hope we can pull off a shock Sunday, Leicester arent in great form, a win would be massive.
This weekend its

Brighton v Villa
Norwich v Bournemouth
West Ham v Everton
Burnley v Leicester

It will all get very tight I think after this weekend, a win for us, and 2 draws in them first 2 6 pointers would be great!

Could finally see Eddie spotted if Norwich grab a win, itll also give them a glimmer of hope.

Villa have only taken 1 point from 30 against the top half teams was a sky stat yesterday.
That's a good habit.
if you can win 11 games against the final bottom 8 teams or so over the season you'll probably stay up.

Eddie is current favourite for next manager to leave betting market.

I think we'll finish above Norwich, Bournemouth, Villa and Brighton.

The one that amuses me are Brighton who are getting loads of credit and people talking about them as thought they are a really good team and yet they are on the same points as us. The only difference is they are probably better to watch than we are for the neutrals.

True. Their away form isn't the best, although only 1 point worse off than us this season.

Theres that and the shiney new stadium, 30k gates and rich chairman that will pump money in every window.

The media have their favourites, sadly unless we are 7th ( and still sometimes not ) we wont get much air time or praise.

Think the pundits, opposition fans and management, and people in football are tired of our style.
Mr Dyche also seems very repetitive in interviews and probably comes across very dull and constantly moaning

You've got to get the media onside otherwise they'll spin all sorts and portray everything negatively

I've just had a deeper look at the remaining fixtures for clubs around us.

We easily have the worst if we're looking at the next 3 games. If we look at the remaining games of the season...

Worst:
(1) Villa, followed by:
(2) Bournemouth
(3) Burnley
(4) West Ham
(5) Brighton
(6) Norwich
(7) Newcastle

Norwich have some decent overall fixtures, so I wouldn't say they are down yet: Bournemouth, Southampton, Everton, Brighton, West Ham, Burnley - all at home. They also have Newcastle away.

I'm counting Watford out as they look far too good and their manager has improved them 10-fold. Newcastle have the fixtures to survive.

But West Ham can seem to perform against the big clubs which is something we are nowhere near able to do these days. To be honest I was rather relieved at 3-0 on Saturday. And Leicester will be wanting to make ammends on Sunday.

3 from Norwich Bournemouth Villa and us. Others will spend or get new managers etc. We will bury our heads in the sand.

Add Newcastle and Brighton to that list

Anyone who thinks we are out of it needs a reality check.

Based on current form, this squad is going backwards

My real worry is that this season we have been pretty predictable in our results. The only unpredictable ones were the draw at Wolves (part of their poor start) and the home defeat to Villa, which was a shocking result.

If this predictability continues we will be relegated. I can only see us getting points off Norwich, Bournemouth and perhaps Brighton.

Brighton will probably be safe last game of season so will be half on the beach when they come to the Turf.

IMO, it will be Norwich, Bournemouth and possibly Villa. Watford and West Ham will move up a bit, Newcastle and we will struggle. I reckon we will scrape 17th by the odd point.

Norwich are dead. Have been since the moment they stepped into this division and decided to continue their naïve style of play despite having to operate on a shoestring budget.

Bournemouth look in all sorts of trouble, but I’m unwilling to say they’re finished just yet. Villa, well it all hangs on this transfer window. Newcastle aren’t safe either. Watford have the quality to survive.
