Without wanting to get carried away, I think he’s done reasonably well playing on right in a 442.

Interesting to see on Twitter someone questioning the team selection. Why were Brady and Vydra not playing? Who cares? Some need to have a day off.

Haha Farrell out! How dare he pick U23's for an U23's match and then have the audacity to win as well?

I would suspect that considering our current injuries we wouldn't want to risk any of the senior pros even those unlikely to play on Sunday. With Koiki being involved I would assume that there will be some of those that were ill last week returning to the fray to take his place in the squad.

Pretty obvious why they weren't playing, and in any case one of them is injured.

Thought that there were a couple of opportunities in the 2nd half when he could have had a shot at goal but he choose to play it across the box.

Easy to pick up on a couple of incidents though. I thought he did well generally, good pace, good movement and came close to scoring a couple of times too. Would definitely like to see more of him.

Yes, he did OK but as a trialist I just would have liked him to have taken those couple of goal scoring opportunities to make more of an impact.

I’d expect him to fit into the team play to be honest. He’s only 18 too and is probably playing at this level for the first time in the last week.

Does it help to get a game for Burnley if you have the same name as someone who played for us in the past? such as Jensen in goal, Thomas, McMahon, Brennan, Harris and Thomson.
