Any News On Wood

Post by warksclaret » Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:43 pm

Is there a chance of him being fit for the Leicester game (he has a good record v Leicester). Not much coverage since Saturday on exactly what he experienced ie a break or just a bang to his nose. It looked like he may have fractured it. Sometimes this may mean missing the next game. Could leave us short if he misses the game with Barnes presumably out

Club don’t offer injury updates other than at pre-match conference but didn’t he break his nose?

Club don't offer any injury updates other than at pre-match conference so I'm not sure, but.........

He could perhaps play in a "Phantom of the Opera" style mask I suppose.

Couple of early assaults by Chelsea players early on led to us getting three yellows was it?

Love the game nowadays!

I think we'll beat Leicester and draw at OT.

Haven't said anything about Brady I don't think which is strange. Makes me wonder if he and Dyche had a falling out when he was subbed at HT against Villa.

He should think himself lucky that he wasn't subbed before then!

He's a Kiwi, let's hope he has some of the legendary All Black, Sir Colin Meads about him ...

Once played 74 minutes of a Rugby Test against South Africa with a broken arm, and on another occasion, sliced two fingers off in an accident on his farm .... popped them in an ice bucket, and drove to hospital where they were reattached ..

JR, Barnes and Wood all doubts but Vydra still won't get a game. I keep expecting a call from Dyche to see if I want a game. He'd be about 35 years too late though. Even then I'm sure he'd play me before Vydra.

Maybe this is why Richardson didn't play for the U23's the other day ;)
