Sunday match v Leicester City

Post by claretblue » Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:38 pm

IN MEMORIAM
There will be a one-minute silence at Turf Moor, as we reflect on the loss of all members of the Clarets family who passed away in 2019.

All of the names that have been received will be added to the former players and staff who have passed away and displayed on the big screen during the silence, ahead of the game.

2:00pm kick-off
Turnstiles open at 10:15am
...anyone know why so early? :?

This is a nice idea in isolation once a year. There are silences and applauses nearly every week now so I hadn’t realised we hadn’t done this. Other silences should be for memorable former players only.

If you are unable to get to the game and don’t have sky sports the match is being shown on sky 1.

My mum passed....12 months ago next week, so cut out the shitty comments

I’ll be at the match, as usual with my son........

Proud of him, and to be a Claret.

Pancreatic cancer if you care.

All cancers clearly are terrible but Pancreatic seems to be one where the early symptoms are often not identified like stomach ache which moves to your lower back......as with most things an early diagnosis is key so if ever you have similar get it checked...........mum was diagnosed September, inoperable and gone in January........if they do identify it early, they can do something about it and you will survive but it’s that early diagnosis which us key.

Bless her.
