Re: Crackerjack
I believe that there have been a few kids on in the past who have turned out to
be famous. The only one I can remember is Jimmy Page.
I'm pretty sure there are others.

Re: Crackerjack
I used to love it at the end of the show when they murdered that week's number one in the charts. Status Quo's 'Down Down' was an absolute classic.

I met him as an adult. I reckon he was probably a pretty strange kid.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 8:18 pmI believe that there have been a few kids on in the past who have turned out to

Re: Crackerjack
I’m surprised it ended in 1984
I’d have only been 7 then but can clearly remembering watching it.

Re: Crackerjack
I'd have hated to get stuck in a lift with Peter Glazier he looked a bit pervy.

In the days of Eamon it was 'It's Friday, and it's 5 o'clock, it's time for..'
I don't know when the loss of the 5 minutes happened.

Re: Crackerjack
I remember it from the earlyish 60s with Leslie Crowther.
"Give him a cabbage" (catchphrase from the show) was a saying we often used as kids for when people dropped a clanger/said something stupid.
