Chris Long hat trick tonight...

For Motherwell.
Why oh why did we let him go. Him and Giftless Noel Edmunds up front, with Eckersley whipping in the crosses..we’d be in Europe again..

He's ooc in a few months,i'm sure someone will take a punt on him,but the Scottish Cup against a Championship team is hardly the game to judge him on,he's never been prolific in his spells in England, his short stint at Brentford showed he might be a decent signing for an aspiring Championship/League 1 side, but he's unlikely to play at the highest level.

A lot of players go up to the Scottish leagues and flourish
The game is more violent but the pace is slower
Look at the way Scott Arfield has done well playing in the lower league North of the Border
Good look to Chris he was highly regarded at Everton and perhaps is a late developer
