Pie/ early kick off decision
considering all the negativity on the board and social media this week I’d like to know the plans for tomorrow.
Considering the early kick off, will you delay your pie before the game or at half time and save it to watch all the protesting fans outside the ground after the game?

Canned Corn Beef, Spam, Ham, Tuna, Salmon, Hot Dogs etc would be ideal .... the Food Bank has many tins of Baked Beans, Spaghetti, Peas etc already in stock ...

If there is 1 tin for every person that is happy with club then there is likely to be over 18k cans
What a great opportunity to show your support

Re: Pie/ early kick off decision
Lads, most people have a Mcdonalds before the game. The half time pie brigade are neanderthals lost in time. How much is a pie now in the bee hole end these days anyway? A fiver or something? Sickening. Go vegan or die trying fellas.
Re: Pie/ early kick off decision
Mind your peas and queues Millertime.
You don't know pies, leave it to Lancashire to sort that out.

Re: Pie/ early kick off decision
A good thread. Hafners is shut given it’s a Sunday. Similarly I think the cissy greens shop in clitheroeis also closed.
A lack of advance planning could leave me hungry
Not bought one in the bob lord since peas were taken off the menu plus serving the pies upside down was gradually getting too upsetting.

The steak & Pepper pies are alright...
I had a Cornish Pasty at Bristol City & Rochdale and those two stand out for me in my 25 years over away trips
The steak & ale pies at Brighton were good as well

Do you recall the little rhyme chanted by kids years ago about Hollands pies ' Hollands pies made with flies concrete bottoms and iron sides' never really knew why we did that.

Re: Pie/ early kick off decision
I hesitated to post initially, as I certainly didn't want to imply that beans etc. would be unwelcome. Regular posters will know that Mrs Clarets4me and I share our home with and support two gents in their 30's who live with moderate learning disabilities, under LCC's " Shared Lives " scheme. One of them volunteers at the BFC in the Community foodbank, so we get to hear what's particularly needed from time to time ...
Let's hope for a bumper crop of tins, as well as 3 points this afternoon !!

Years ago a friend of a friend said he’d never eat a pie from Holland’s if he was payed as he used to work there and it was disgusting! Can’t imagine it’s like that these days though

Just about to take the kids cycling around Wilton Park in Bl*ckburn, for the afternoon. I will have radio silence until we get back in the car around 4pm. Then I will check the score and see if it’s worth turning up for the protest at the end of the game.Burnleyareback2 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 11:23 pmconsidering all the negativity on the board and social media this week I’d like to know the plans for tomorrow.

Re: Pie/ early kick off decision
I found out the score when a B*stard fan stood near me groaned to his friend that Burnley had just won.
I punched the air and whooped.
Drove home via Ew*od Park and flicked the Vs at the place.
Now trying to find the highlights on ‘tinternet.
