Keepers make the odd error. Thank god he doesn’t make as many as Pickford. He also won us the game...
Pickford is the most overrated keeper in the whole history of football...mouthy show pony..I cant stand the Tw@t.

He’s very small as well, has to jump sideways like Spider-Man for routine saves that bigger keepers make easily, Ancelotti will have him gone if he gets his way.

What a great display by our heroes!
Madge gave it her all and so did the crowd. Great performance all round.
Phew!
Here is Naughty Madge to celebrate the magnificent 3 points.

The Yanks dont quite get soccer do they
That's a bit unfair, there's some good American Burnley fans who post and read here. You should think twice before saying this stuff!

The NBC thread that I’m watching has said AFTER THE GAME that VAR could still overrule the result as it looks as if Mee did handle in the box. Surely this can’t be the case. Not once the game is over. Anyhow, their goal shouldn’t have stood on account of Cork definitely being fouled.
They never said anything of the sort. They said they'd look at it in the studio. Every goal is VAR checked and it was deemed legal and rightly so.

I hate watching us on TV. The camera must be right alongside the morons who sing “we are the long side, Burnley” all game. Give it a rest, makes us sound moronic.
This could be close though... Criticism of Fans in attendance getting behind their team...

Re: NBCSN, I’ve always thought their coverage was excellent, well informed and accurate whenever I’ve seen it, err, on holiday.

Think you need glasses
Zlatan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 3:29 pm
I already wear them - I saw it live with no replay, I’ll reserve judgement until I see it again
joey13 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 3:32 pm
You don’t need to it was a penalty
OK - seen it on the MoTD highlights now, in realtime all I could see was 2 players side by side and Barnes going to ground too easily (I still think that to some extent). I agree that it was a penalty now though, Mee got himself in a mess which resulted in dragging Barnes down with him.

Ben Chilwell and Hamza Choudhury were dropped after missing an important pre-match training session!
I wasn't aware of that...thought they'd just been rested - player rotation
unusual for 2 players to be AOL from compulsory training session
