Re: Who's Going
Yep I'll be there.
The 1st time I'll have seen the Clarets at Old Trafford for about 36 years.
Last time was a league cup tie where after we had taken the kick off Bryan Robson some how managed to chip Roger Hansbury and give Utd the lead after about 15 seconds.
There was an up and coming youngster in that side too who went on to bag a hattrick in the game, Mark Hughes

1967/68 it p!ssed me off how thousands want to go there and a couple of overnight central motors coaches was about it to southampton....never liked em! But mellowed with time. Burnley wont lose this one though!THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 12:00 amYep I'll be there.

Flying in from Taiwan having bought an official Man Utd top from a gift shop in the airport, on the flight in I am learning the words to glory glory Man United for the communal warm up sing song, memorising the faces of the players so I know who I am cheering for everytime they touch the soccer ball so when United lose I will know the genuine hurt of the average Manchester reds soccer fans. Doing City the week after.

Re: Who's Going
OOOoo I was at that. Weren't we penned into a set of full on roof & walls cages across the away end or am I confusing that with somewhere else?THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 12:00 amYep I'll be there.

Re: Who's Going
I to was there in the segregated part of the scoreboard end. I remeber a Man U player patting the head a smallish Burnley subsitute who had just come on . We were drubbed TBF. How we have come on !!!!!!!THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 12:00 amYep I'll be there.
