Manure versus MIGHTY CLARETS

Post by IanMcL » Wed Jan 22, 2020 5:00 pm

I have a bloody Council meeting an hour away!
Hope it is done and I am back for kick off!

Here's Madge to ensure we rise to the occasion.

Same as last night ... BT Sport showed at least 2 of the games on different channels...

Leicester v West Ham are on BT 2 and us on BT 1

Bad news.....I got stuck in massive traffic queue and would have arrived up to 25 mins late.

Good news.....I turned round and came home and phoned in my apologies.....I am ok for the football! Yippee!

Nice one, Ian.
And on a slightly differentish topic, I hit traffic on the A38 just north of Burton early yesterday morning. Everything stopped............and didn't move an inch for four and a half hours ! A record and a very surreal way to see dawn break and a morning unfold.

Hope those rumours about Bardsley are rubbish. He was one of the main driving forces on Saturday, would be a big miss.

No injury concerns for BFC, apart from JBG, according to the BBC website.

Lowton needs support not slagging off before he's kicked a ball, I thought we were better then that.

Bardsley and Lowton have often seemed to share their form between each other. One will be dropped and the other play well. Then the other comes in and plays well. It's hardly like there's much between them in changing a game.

The plastics aren't happy :) this is a comment on the Beeb text feed.

With a busy schedule coming up we have no choice but to bench Greenwood. If Martial gets injured he is the only striker we have. With the 2nd highest wages in the world it is an absolute joke that we are in this position. Silly wages and contract extensions offered to 5th and 6th choice centre-backs, allowing senior players to leave without replacing them. The board have a lot to answer for.

I can't see Ed Woodward lasting much longer, his recruitment has been dire,i have to say i'm more confident now i've seen their starting XI,Jones is a weak link, and Greenwood has an eye for goal,so it's good he's on their bench and not on the pitch.
