There’s no one I would rather have trying to keep us in this league, and there’s no one I would rather have to get us up out of the Championship if we go down. IMO, there’s no one I would rather have managing us. SD is the best thing that’s happened to us in a very long time.

BT gave Ben Mee mom - but only because he is Burnley's captain - oh, and he played "quite well" in defence - oh, and he got an assist for Chris Wood's goal (again).

He's got the players back to doing what we do best - pressing teams from the front.

Doesn't half make a massive difference when we take our chances!

Be honest lads, how many people actually wanted his out? A handful maybe.

People were well within their rights to question what was going on, it was dire. A big difference between questioning what is happening and wanting him out.

He’s taken the handbrake off and we start to win again. Can’t understand why he ever applies it.

Surely you must understand that a team like us, playing at this level, can’t be good all of the time. We regularly go through good spells and bad. Most people seem to be able to keep a level head throughout it all whereas some see relegation after a couple of poor results and a top six finish after a couple of wins.

Wow. That reminds me of some of the comments Ferguson used to make about Leadership/Management. And also very true. Will remember that forever.

The thing for me is ..... we lose a game or a few games and I feel disappointed but know we still have the right man in charge at our club.

Then, we beat Man United at Old Trafford. Guess what? I still feel we have the right man in charge at our club. If only fans would look at the big picture instead of getting unbelievably down when we lose and overly excited with a win. Look at where we are as a club. Look where we have come from over the last few years. We have just won at Old Trafford!! Let that sink in. We have achieved so much over the last few years. Just bloody enjoy it. Believe it or not, we could be far worse off.

Feckin love Dyche and will back him unless we lose 50 games on the bounce.

It wasn’t constructive questioning though was it? Quite a few on here happily want him gone then of course there are the apparent ‘many’ who won’t be renewing season tickets next season due to Dyche that we keep being told about. Sometimes in life you need a bit of bottle and to stick with the the team you supposedly support.

He has limitations as do the players but currently they are '.bustin a gut' for him and us. Makes you wonder what goes on in the privacy of the training ground. Plenty of managers with a higher profile than him and more financial backing than him have simply crumbled when faced with similar circumstances. Now what else can we find to aim in his direction?

Many were rightly questioning a lot of things. But very few if any sane people wanted shut.

Not shooting so many games running wasn’t good enough. And truth be told dyche himself will know that stat isn’t acceptable or good enough. And it showed again tonight with the strikers we have we don’t actually need many shots. They’re clinical.

We still need bodies. For this season and next. Winning gives us not only a good bit of breathing space. It gives us belief, confidence and more appeal to attract players knowing chances are we will be here again. But it also makes us less likely to spend.

The board and manager need not get complacent. A weeks a long time in football. We still need a new right back, centre mid and striker. And that’s before we lose Hart, Gibson, Vydra, possibly Hendrick.

But tonight’s not the night for all that. Tonight’s the night to celebrate a monumental win. And look forward to winning the Fa cup.

The problem is, some has been constructive but this gets lost in the rest and everyone branded as "negatives".

If people dont want to renew that's up to them, I'll still watch and no doubt so will you but I can still acknowledge the football has been pretty poor this season, I think we are able to perform better than we have done largely this year and the last two games have shown that.

Bottle is a good thing and well needed but without asking "is there a better way?" you will never find one.

I went tonight and thought we were excellent, look to have turned a corner.

Appears we have midfielders who are premiership class. Appears Cork isn’t slow, Weak with no first touch and shite.

Appears the manager can sign players good enough for the prem.

Appears our legacy isn’t just turning up to get mullered off too teams, So maybe there is some point.

Appears Dyche is stubborn, because he’s right.

Appears Wood isn’t just offside all the time.

Appears that life’s just that bit better if you’re grateful for what you’re got, not resentful for what you haven’t.
