Chris Wood stat

Post by Vegas Claret » Wed Jan 22, 2020 10:49 pm

Since the start of the 2017-18 season, Burnley striker Chris Wood is one of only 12 players to have scored 30+ Premier League goals (30 in total).

I didn't know that !

A few on here laughed when I said he'd get 20 goals this season, but he won't be far off.

Ridiculous goal scorer. I don't understand how he is always in the right place to score so many goals, without threatening a lot of the time. 10 this season in the prem, would be great for him to get 15+. He looks so much better when we play with jay and get the ball on the floor more. Also, won a lot of free kicks today by bringing the ball down on his chest. Since he’s come to us he has learnt to use his size and strength. Undoubtedly going to be our record premier league goal scorer.

It's strange how some Burnley fans don't see how bloody good Wood is. We will look back on his career with us and talk about what a fantastic player he was for us. I assure you of that.

Our two lads from Leeds are not just good, they’re very, very good!

Great player is Wood. Not always easy on the eye but he is generally deadly in front of goal. To score as many as he does in our team is some going.

This was the most frustrating thing in those shotless games. We actually have clinical strikers.
