It's the build up to Rodders' goal which makes it the best of the two.

Robbies goal was special in that it was our first Premier League goal on top of being a fantastically well struck volley.

I have to give it to Jay though. Whilst we were already 1 up, this is the goal that won the game in my eyes, and to hit a shot with such velocity into the Stretford End, to see David De Gea palming the air with no hope, just stunning.

They always look better when they crash off the bar too.

Blake's goal was exceptional control of a ball coming in from a distance, with the volley perfect.

I suggest that whenever J-Rod's goal is discussed (as it surely will for years to come) it should be referred to as 'JayRod's thunderbastard' so we all know what we're talking about.

Must be Robbie. This was our first top flight goal for nearly 30 years and against the champions, it was also the winner.

Jayrod's goal probably edges it in terms of quality but it was the second goal in a game against a poor team, and the chances are we may well have won without it

Its like a meal you love but you don't have it all the time (because its so special), each time you have it it tastes the best. The Jay goal tastes so amazing because we've not had it for a while and we have it right now! Blakes is the same. They are both the best somehow!

I agree...three FANTASTIC goals with not much between them but I don't think I've ever seen a ball smashed harder into the net than Robbie's pearler and the fact it was a volley of a dropping ball gives it the edge.

Mind you Robbie's simply beautiful free kick at Deepdale possibly trumps the lot !

For my money, jays goal against Chelsea was better than the one last nite.

Totally biased here but I was in with the Man U supporters right behind the goal when Robbie scored and the way it squeezed between Foster and the goalpost was a thing of beauty. Will forever be my favourite goal of all time. Still brings a lump to my throat when I watch it on Youtube.

But Robbie for me - the TV cameras were literally shaking with the noise coming out of Turf Moor that game. One of the best atmospheres ever at a home game.
Plus as said that United side would beat this current one by 10 goals !....and to be fair our current burnley side is probably a lot better than the one 10 years ago.

Defour’s free kick was also brilliant and one of my favourite away games for many a year.

We’ve not had a bad 10 years have we when we can debate 3 unbelievably good goals which contributed to 2 wins and a draw against the most successful side in the history of the league !!

Going for Jay Rod, a one two left peg brilliant, loved Robbies but last night just edged it IMO.

Between the two? Robbie’s; just.

Blakes goal was a sublime volley....
Defours was a sublime free kick....
Jay Rods was a sublime move involving 3 great passes from a throw-in, finished with a sublime shot unstoppable by the Manure keeper....

He gets a narrow victory because he made the earth move for me.

We have scored some belters against them over the years. Seem to remember Brian O’Neil scoring a cracker at Turf Moor in the sixties.

Hard to split them if you're basing it on technical quality. They're both worldies. Blake's volley is technically unbeatable, Rodriguez' goal has the edge on build up.

But for overall context, wonderful as last night was, I dont think the moment of Blake's goal can be beaten.

Jay Rod, intricate build up play as well.
