But those posters knew before we signed them, that we wouldn't have the injuries...
The narrative that he was signed to cover injuries is a bit weird given that he was injured when we signed him and wasn't really fit until the next transfer window opened.

I know, if only we had successful signings in the squad. Why can't we be like the other 19 clubs in the division who have a squad where everyone makes a contribution, especially those who sign for 5m. I mean not one club will have a player who has cost more than that, be paid more than he is and not featured.
You're right Turtle. Massive success and a snip at 5 million.

Suppose with 2 wins out of 2 you have to find something else to whinge about. Another game tomorrow could be a tough day for you if we make it 3 out of 3. Good luck kid

No way can this be described as a success. If we break even (big if taking into account all our costs) then that will be exactly all we will have done.

Doubt you will find anybody who thinks it was a success, but some need something to bitch about constantly and make it that it was the most expensive flop in football when in relative terms a 5m fee and no doubt one of the lowest earners in the squad isn't that much.

If people are childish enough to focus on signings that don't work and ignore the ones that do then that says a lot more about them.

If we're dealing with Bristol Titty and they're actually serious about it, then we should be looking at that guy Elliason as well as Brownhill. IMO he COULD be the next JBG and that would allow us to let Lennon move on in the summer, probably Brady too and possibly even, (sadly) injury jinxed JBG himself.
One in, three out? The bean counters would love you!

Or keeping him as back up given Ashley Barnes is out for some time and an injury to Wood or Rodders would leave us with just Vydra and Wood or Rodders
That was my thought but if it is true it is another nail in the coffin of Vydra's career at the Turf.
