Check their fixtures. They won't be full strength.
Big chance all fixtures around ours mean they will "rest" some of their big players.
Just saying.
I don't gamble but if I did I'd have a look at this maybe?

26th Feb City v Real Madrid
March
1st City v Arsenal
8th Man Utd v City
14th City v Clarets
17th Real Madrid v City
21st City v Chelsea
April
4th April City v Liverpool
that is a serious run of fixtures !! Hopefully they get a good result at home to Madrid at the end of Feb to make it worthwhile playing the kids against us (yeah right!)

If City play their under 23 side we struggle to get anything, so I wouldn't get to excited

I would love to think a win is on the cards against City away, been to this fixture a few times and never seen us get anything, its a good day out with the Accy Clarets and a pub stop in Bury on the way, hopefully we can grab something out of the game and it will make the journey home a lot sweeter.

Isn’t football just wonderful? Check out the optimism that just six days have brought

Surely they're less likely to play the kids against us if they have a good result at home to Real? As they can consider playing a weakened side in the second leg.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 4:07 amHopefully they get a good result at home to Madrid at the end of Feb to make it worthwhile playing the kids against us (yeah right!)
Whereas if they only manage a draw at home to Real, or lose, they'll then be more likely to rest players vs us, in prep for the must win game vs RM three days later.
However, I can't see that game having much impact, if they're looking like 2nd place in the league. They can rest players vs us anyway.

I class a 1 goal win against Madrid a good result though, not a 5-0 win, that would be a bad result for us !FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 11:57 amSurely they're less likely to play the kids against us if they have a good result at home to Real?
