Womens FA Cup

Post by claretburns » Sat Jan 25, 2020 2:43 pm

For anyone interested Burnley Women have reached the 4th Round of the Women's FA Cup and host Leicester tomorrow at Padiham FC’s Ruby Civil Arena, 16 Well Street, Padiham, Burnley, BB12 8LE. It is £3 for adults and £1 for Under 16s. It should be a good day and hopefully cheer the team through to the 5th round.

Unfortunately, Burnley FC Women lost 1-3 in the Women's FA Cup 4th round today .... Leicester City play in the 2nd tier of Women's Football, whereas we are in our first season of, effectively, 3rd Division ( North ), following two successive promotions.

It's by far the furthest the team has ever progressed in the WFA Cup, so commiserations, but well done to all concerned ...
