Re: Arsenal
Their first half display was impressive, similar in style to Man City.with regards to winning the ball back quickly and retaining possession with good, crisp passing. To be fair Bournemouth offered little in return. Didn't see the 2nd.half where I'm presuming Bournemouth improved. Expecting it.to be a difficult game.on Sunday.

Re: Arsenal
Suspect the fans will play their part. They will have a lot of possession and we will need to be patient. Weather has given as rain and fairly cold at the moment, so hoping they don’t fancy it!
Will take an Old Trafford-like performance, soaking up the nice stuff and being clinical with our chances. As always, think we can get at them at set plays.
Keeping everything crossed!

Re: Arsenal
Tbf it was bad weather last night. We just need to run at em like we did against MU. No better time to play em Really.
Re: Arsenal
This season they are miles behind the likes of Leicester.

Re: Arsenal
In terms of what? League position? Players? Style of play? They had some good players at Bournemouth last night. Pace to burn and neither Lacazette nor Aubameyung were on view. Looked like Arteta was beginning to impress his ideas on them. Granted I only saw the first half but they played a skilful, high intensity game.

Re: Arsenal
Arteta settling in. He has some great talent for the future in Martinelli, Saka, Nketian.
Think he’ll go back to Aubameyang & Lacazette for Sunday. Their defence is still their problem. If we score first we can win this.

Re: Arsenal
No, because it's one of the rules of PL football that we never beat Arsenal, no matter how average their team becomes, so forget it and stay in the pub. (They'll probably lose 3-0 to Norwich the following week just to emphasise my point!)

Re: Arsenal
Most of the team Arsenal played were kids so won’t be involved .They always have a nice 2nd3rd XI tbf lots of raw talent natural movement and pace . Having won only 1 in 8 ? ( I think ? ) in the league Arteta could yet find himself under real pressure if we beat em. If we’re fired up and the crowd are up for it it’s anyone’s game imo .

Re: Arsenal
As usual the football gods will be looking down on the Gooners, if they dont score within the regulation 90, they will no doubt win a controversial penalty in injury time, even with all the guts and determination we have, we are destined never to win against the biggest cheats in the history of the PL, no matter who refs the game Arsenal will all get the decisions, As you have probably guessed i dont like the Gooners, but hopefully the Gods will take their eyes off the game for a second and Jay will crash one in. Re: Arsenal
They were made to look good by a very poor Bournemouth side the other night, a stronger team would have given them a tougher time.

Re: Arsenal
A very different Arsenal to the one that Arteta walked in on - they showed incredible determination away at Chelsea - we will need to be at our best to get anything imho
