Whatโs wrong with these medicals? When I joined the RAF, some grubby old bloke grabbed my nuts and asked me to cough. Job done! Looking back, Iโm not sure he was even a doctor!

I once had a very small role, in a very small transfer, and the paperwork took all day, solicitors, agents, FA, club officials on both sides, internal press etc etc, factor in a medical, travelling... It's a long day, and night.
Yep, years back I was vaguely involved in the Andrey Arshavin transfer that ended up being approved a few days after the window shut and there was a whole variety of stuff involved.

Because in any business negotiations the longer talks drag on then the chance of failure increases significantly. Delay usually signifies a disagreement or problem. It may not of course but in my experience that is the norm

Unsure on quality of source, but Brownhill apparently to be given number 8 shirt. Maybe from someone who's seen/heard of the pictures being taken before he's unveiled.
Looks like it was correct.

Yes, funnily enough.
The thing about Twitter is that all Burnley's signings are revealed, or at least rumoured, in advance on Twitter. So are all the signings we don't get. I bet if you look hard enough we will have been linked with all of Bristol City's first XI in the last few months; if you get fifty pieces of info and only 2 are true, and you don't know which 2, it's a lot less use than Chris Boden.
It's like the Daily Express weather forecasts. If they predict snow every day, and then one day it does snow, then they were right but useless.

Wow some enthusiasm. To think I've only just recovered from being depressed after Drinkwaters signing video.

Some credible sources of information on there, too. Some decent journalists often post reliable stuff.
Obviously you're just believing anything from anyone, which is why you've been disappointed with your experience.

Agreed. If you look at what people put as a rumour, you can always have a good idea via various checks, of how reliable it is.
