Heard this week that it’s now under new management. Big job modernising that place! Good luck to them
Are they going to modernise the place or are they just the latest tenants to have a go at running the pub?
I remember going in there years ago on Saturday afternoons before the match with my parents. The pub did decent food. I can see someone making a go of it, given a revamp, decent well kept beer and good home cooked food, not cheap bought in ping-food like all too many places. Anyway, whoever it is, I wish them all the best.

Apparently gary the builder( al murray with hair and a burnley accent) is the new landlord he is installing vending machines and recruiting busty barmaids. There are reports of a pole in the back room.
