Good morning.

Do you have an email address for Darren Bentley by any chance?

Thanks.

I can't and I've removed the posts from those who have because it is against the law to do so.

Tony, I saw the post and sent him an email. I wasn't aware about that and I can send him an apology if you require?

I'll contact the club using the link.

It is against the law to post someone's email address without their personal permission. I don't care where else it is, it cannot be posted on here so I would prefer it if you didn't post your clearly incorrect response.

His email is in the Media and Marketing section of the link. It's hardly illegal to publish something that is a matter of public record.
So you are fully trained are you in data protection and GDPR?

This thread will be deleted. Because it's illegal to publish things which are readily available online.

The thread will not be removed but you have - I understand the law, I understand data protection and I understand GDPR. I will not, under any circumstances have this board threatened by you or anyone else. Your ban is for 24 hours, after which I would expect you not to post until you fully understand what you are and what you are not able to post.

GDPR...

Post by Marney&Mee » Sat Feb 01, 2020 6:10 pm

Tony,

You do a cracking job with this site, but you are incorrect re gdpr. We run a sizeable business for the legal sector supplying contact details for lawyers. If the contact details are in the public domain, legally you are allowed to publish them. You don’t need individual permission.

Sadly, it's comments like this that ruin this board.

Afraid I can't, we took advice and they cannot be posted. You can direct people to where they are shown but not allowed to publish email addresses.

And I will merge this with the previous thread which is rightly closed.
