Watford 1 up, would prefer an Everton win to keep points away from anyone below us.
West Ham v Brighton & Bournemouth v Villa both big games! Not a nail in the coffin at this stage but a big psychological blow to the losers.

Bournemouth Villa - best result for us is a draw I suppose?

Probably both, removes a point that could be used against us from the potential points pool.
West Ham in the drop though is very amusing.

I'm not counting Watford as relegation fodder so the game vs Everton, not concerned with. I expect they'll beat Everton though.
West Ham vs Brighton - would prefer a Brighton win.
Bournemouth vs Villa - a draw. Both have a tough run of games after this.

He was apparently one of their best players last game and created the most chances.

Why? West Ham have probably a better chance of survival than Brighton who are really struggling at the moment.

Unlikely to end happily for us today as everyone below us seems to be playing each other!
Could do with an Everton win though.

Need Everton to get at least a point. Villa to win or draw at Bournemouth and Brighton to get something at West Ham. None looking likely so far

Like I say, I really don't think Watford will be near the bottom come the end of the season. So not too concerned with that game.

So it looks like 17th will have 25 points come full time whistle. 5 points clear.

I think the Hammers will have just about enough in the tank to stay up. Brighton in more trouble.

The season we finished 7th after 24 games we only had 4 more points than we do now (34) and sat in 8th place with Everton 9th on 28 points. I think that 40 could be the minimum needed this time

Grealish deliberately runs straight into an opponent, ref gives opponent second yellow. No VAR because not straight red.

West Ham get the points. Would have preferred a draw or Brighton win, but hey-ho. West Ham have tough games to come:
Man City (a)
Liverpool (a)
Southampton (h)
Arsenal (a)
Wolves (h)
Spurs (a)
Chelsea (h)

Villa currently 18th with 25 points, would need 5 wins from this lots. Which on paper is the hardest remaining run of fixtures of any team.

If Villa get another and it finishes 2-2, Villa will be on 26, Bournemouth 24. Making 17th have 24 points.
