I will be amazed if Brownhill starts. Depending how the game pans out, he may get a run out.

The team picks itself, that's half the problem.

Re: Your team for the gunners
I think we can name the team already.
Brownhill seemed to be a regular feature at Bristol, so surely he is match fit, but I definitely don;t expect him to start today.
Bardsley still out?

Can't change the team that beat United.

Same team that beat Man utd at old Trafford but swop Brownhill for Hendrick only because Hendrick will leave in the summer that's one of the reason's Brownhill was signed, so get him in the team now.

Re: Your team for the gunners
What’s this problem then? Oh the one where we only beat Man U away by just the 2 goals...should we have had more? Maybe the only 12 points from the last 8 games problem? The problem of having to stay in the top flight for a 5th season? There are so many problems to choose from #nicerproblemstohave. You could always go and support Bolton if you want to bang on about genuine problems....
Same team as Man U today. It’s just a shame that boomerang is back for them tbh. However, fingers crossed for the win against Arsenal...finally

Re: Your team for the gunners
The massive problem with a team picking itself is just that, there is no pressure on the regular first team player's unless they are banned or injured, they never get dropped, their position in the team is never under threat they never have to look over their shoulders. Yes absolutely you don't change a winning team especially after beating Man utd away but we have had some terrible individual and team performances yet nothing changes when it's needed, that's the problem with a team that picks itself.
Re: Your team for the gunners
Dyche only changes the team through injury, not tactics or player performance,so unless we have injuries it's same again

If you are comparing Liverpool to Burnley I ******* give up
A MASSIVE PROBLEM with a team that picks itself is you **** off players that never get a chance to play, even the record transfer fee players don't get a chance and that results in players going on worth 50 million pound walking away for free or next to nothing I'd call that sort of money loss MASSIVE.
Player's understand competition for places but sat on the bench watching players keep their place week in week out after crap performances must be great for their moral.

Thought you’d given up.
So the 600 million for being in the prem and multi million profits on Keane, Heaton, Gray, Tarks etc don’t offset any losses on the odd benchwarmer.... it’s a massive problem

Re: Your team for the gunners
Yet Dyche has regularly changed the team this season.ClaretMov wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 10:21 amThe massive problem with a team picking itself is just that, there is no pressure on the regular first team player's unless they are banned or injured, they never get dropped, their position in the team is never under threat they never have to look over their shoulders. Re: Your team for the gunners
And, part of the problem at the back end of 2018 was that the team was getting changed too much.

Re: Your team for the gunners
I agree with that but wouldn't play Brownhill after only signing on Thursday and not had much training time with us.
Re: Your team for the gunners
The team changed by Dyche is forced on him by injuries or suspension not because of results or form so not really Dyche changing the team it's because of the situation he's found himself in because a certain player is unavailable
Re: Your team for the gunners
Tarks got sold for profit........Did that sale happen right at the end of the transfer window, I missed that oneHibsclaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 10:50 amCalm down dear.....and I think you mean morale...

Re: Your team for the gunners
Not true. Dyche regularly makes unenforced changes to the team.
Re: Your team for the gunners
The most untrue post ever....FAKE NEWS
After a quick look at the line ups since November the player's changed are Bardsley, Gudmundsson, Taylor Barnes.....all injury forced changes

I thought JBG was ready to return, if that's the case he will come in to the side.

Same as United but Bardsley back in for me. Hopefully have Gibson back on the bench if he’s fit. Let’s show him that he’s wanted here
