Pope 7 Solid game
Lowton 8 Looks a different player pressing high
Tarkowski 9 absolute rock and what a challenge on Lacazette
Mee 7 made some good blocks when under pressure, iffy passing
Taylor 8 Top performance again
Hendrick 8 Knicked lots of balls back and got forward
Cork 7 good shift
Westwood 7 see cork
McNeil 8 Took the game to arsenal, gave Bellerin fits
Wood 7 Link up play was good, -1 for the constant offsides
Rodriguez 9 MOM best player on the park today, done everything defended, disrupted their play, held the ball up really well and got on the end of some hefty hoofs perfectly. Apart from that miss which was mighty unlucky he was the dangerous today.

Excellent hardworking performance, possibly needed a change last 20 to kick on again as we rightly tired but I 100% get why Dyche didn’t or wouldn’t.

I know he should have scored, but Jay's workrate again was outstanding. Constant pressure on the defenders and forced numerous mistakes. I also think he changes our style of play from hoofball and we look so much better for it.

Amazing the transformation when we play actual football, it could be a coincidence since Barnes injury that SD made the reluctant change?
Long may it continue to 40points

Pleasure to watch that. Save for the finishing, as good as weve been for a long time.

Pope - 8 - not too much to do but sharp when he had to be.

Lowton - 9 - terrific performance in both attack and defence. Still rebuilding his confidence but his performances in the last two games a huge plus. Wh2n hes playing like this our passing game gets much better.

Taylor - 9 - in a rich vein of form right now and was both our greatest threat and reliable defensively.

Tarkowski - 8 - very solid today and used the ball well.

Mee - 8 - slightly scrappy distribution early on but as the game wore on became more and more dominant.

Westwood - 8 - after a slightly indifferent first 20 minutes became increasingly influential at the heart of midfield.

Cork - 8 - screened the back four hugely effectively and did the simple things well.

Hendrick -7 - tidy around the park, did his usual defensive work and whilst not everything came off for him, he was a threat. Should have done better with two golden chances that dropped his way.

McNeil - 8 - classy distribution at times and some dangerous crosses. Perhaps a bit tentative a couple of times when getting into goalscoring positions.

Rodriguez- 8 - quite superb around the park, and increasingly influential on our football, which is getting much better to watch as a result. However, as good as his goal at United was, his finishing today was bad. You simply cant miss chances like that.

Wood - 7 - a bit clumsy at times but ran the channels well and his physical presence caused Arsenal huge problems at times.

After a dodgy first 15 minutes, I reckon that might be as good a footballing performance as Burnley have produced since the heady autumn of 2018. Particularly in the first 25 minutes of the second half I thought burnley picked arsenal apart with some glorious passing football - getting the ball forward quickly when it was on, getting a platform in the arsenal half and then penning them in with some lovely stuff. It had an end product too - it was just a shame that Burnley's finishing was as profligate as it was clinical at old trafford ten days ago.

The first half actually followed a similar pattern to Old Trafford- slightly ragged first 15-20 minutes, before a very even remainder of the first half which we might even have shaded. We would perhaps have been more deserving of a half time lead than we were at United - but it was after the break that we really came into our own, and really failed to capitalise.

But - people wanted more entertainment and imagination from a Dyche Burnley team - well win or draw, they got that today.

A bit more composure and that would have been 3 points. Very good performance against a very poor Arsenal side.

Any of our back 4 could have won Mom. Lowt's gets mine because of the way he's come back from a bad period.
Not often I've felt a tinge of disappointment taking a point of one of the apparently 'Big 6' lot.
Great team display, that showed a lot of guts after they were so on top for the first 10/15 minutes.

Pope 8 - clean sheet
Lowton 8 - very good today
Tarkowski 8 - absolutely solid and some great balls over the top. We look much better when he plays long diagonal balls to the wings than when we play long straight balls for a flick on.
Mee 8 - solid
Taylor 9 - great going forward and back as usual
Hendrick 8 - did very well but doesn’t really have the pace or quality of ball into the box to play on the wing. Still should be signing a new contract as he’s a great utility option as back up right midfielder as well as centre midfielder.
Cork 8 - played well today picked up second balls well. Still a lack of a goal scoring centre midfielder means we have to go wide, it would be ideal to mix play further by going through the centre, and hopefully Brownhill can do this as he is a goal scoring midfielder.
Westwood 8 - see cork. Was very good today at spreading the ball wide after picking it up deep from the centre backs.
Mcniel 8 - quality on show today.
Wood 8 - great hold up play today, ran the channels well and contributed to our play much more than he has done. Deserved a goal for that centre forward display. Shame he wasn’t where Rodriguez was...
Jay Rod 8 - really good dropping into midfield today and winning second balls, as well as very good link up with Wood. Barnes will have a job getting back into the team. Unfortunately missed getting us the win.

Pope 7 - Not a lot to do but tried to get the play moving quickly which I liked
Lowton 8 - Did well defensively and whatever came down the right offensively
Tarkowski 9 - Solid
Mee 9 - Solid
Taylor 9 - Superb either way
Hendrick 8 - He's not a winger but did a very good job and caused problems
Cork 8 - Broke up Arsenal with ease and play on the front foot. Much better
Westwood 7 - much the same as Cork
McNeil 8 - Could have realised the ball a few time a bit quicker but I'm realy picking
Wood 7 - Good link up play
Rodriguez 8 - Should have scored twice but he looked dangerous

We weathered an early first half storm but we controlled the game from then on which is superb to write. Better energy, quicker, much much better. I think a little better quality and we'd have won very comfortably.

Pope - 8 comfortable, not remotely tested

Lowton - 9 superb, kept Aubameyang quiet and was excellent going forward

Tarkowski - 9 the tackle on Lacazette was top drawer, who remained dominated for the entire time he was on the pitch

Mee - 8 only losing a point for his passing which was junk at times and so nearly played us into trouble but he was defensively excellent

Taylor - 9 worth a lot of money but worth more in our team

Westwood - 8 average start to the game but picked it up massively and got some good balls in the box

Cork - 8 first to the ball so often and kept things tidy

Hendrick - 8 unlucky with two chances, with the 1st half shot that just beat the angle, he did brilliantly to adjust his body and get such a good strike on it. Could have done better with the header though.

McNeil - 8 cracking stuff again and could have bagged a couple

Wood - 8 his pressure on their pissweak centre halves set our tempo and although he was lacking opportunities in the box, he was key to our performance today. Building a superb partnership with...

Rodriguez - 9 should have been in the team a month earlier than he was, we're playing miles better football and his work rate with Wood is keeping us up the pitch.

A fantastic point for Arsenal.

Pope 7
Lowton 8 what’s happened to him ?
Tarkowski 8 solid
Mee 8 solid
Taylor 9 getting better and better
Hendrick 7 he played well today
Cork 7
Westwood 7
McNeil 8 very good game
Wood 7
Jay Rod 7

We were unlucky not to win. The first 15 mins of the second half we played some excellent stuff. Really good team performance, an entertaining 0-0 and we played some good football. I think Jay Rod does help us keep it on the ground.

I don't believe all the high scores for Jay, he should have had an hattrick. He will be very disappointed that he didn't score

I honestly thought we were better today than we were in the wins against Leicester and Man United.

Really unlucky not to win.

Pope 7 - kicking a bit patchy but some good tidying up
Lowton 8 - handled the best player well but didn’t have a final ball
Mee 8 - good at both ends
Tarkowski 9 - a little bit better than Ben at both ends, wasted a good chance
Taylor 8 - very good offensively, made one great defensive tackle but let them in once with poor positioning
Cork 8 - helped by Arsenal playing with a two (Ozil doesn’t count)
Westwood 8 - some tasty deliveries and tried to probe
McNeil 8 - very lively but generally the final ball was unusually poor (mainly but not always)
Hendrick 7 - had a busy game but needs to show more quality in that position, had two great chances, neither on target
Wood 8 - bullied them, up against good defenders but helped us get a couple of good chances
Rodriguez 9 - would have been a 10 if he had scored that sitter because he caused them all kinds of problems

A great game against a woeful side, if you get points for moaning, rolling around, sulking and cheating they would be 22 points clear not Liverpool.

We just missed that final bit of quality when it mattered, our achilles heel.

And HURRAY we had hot water in the JHU, finally :D

I never understand marking on here, a player who's job it is to score goals, misses an absolute sitter, yet still gets 9s....

Westwood - 8 average start to the game but picked it up massively and got some good balls in the box

as per quoon, but 8 for Lowton....felt he had a godawful first 15 mins tbh and on a different day the game could have been over by 2.15.

JRod mom...comfortably. Great team effort.

So unlucky to hit the bar but it was an awkward rising ball and he did well enough to keep it down.

A fantastic point for Arsenal.
