Promising times for the youth setup by the looks of things.
Hopefully a few of these young Clarets come to fruition for us and few more make the grade elsewhere.

As posted previously, was unable to go tonight but told we played really, really well. And what a young side, seven scholars started and another three came on as subs.

Tony, I understand SD is a very busy man but does he ever make time to watch the U23's?
Can I also ask why don't the U23's play their home games in the Burnley area?

Rare that you would see him at a U23 game but both Ian Woan and, more so, Tony Loughlan have been at the games. All three were at our FA Youth Cup game last week though.
I think we play them at Curzon Ashton because they provide facilities above what is offered at any local non league ground.
