Under 21 international
..... on 30th March.
I can ring the ticket office, but does anyone know if you can book your own seat if it's in The Bob Lord Stand ?

Re: Under 21 international
I have just checked online and my normal seat has been sold so, it would appear that, if your seat is still available, you should be able to get it.

It's a free for all, metaphorically speaking.

McNeil playing at home should be special.

I don't think most seats have been made available yet?Ashingtonclaret46 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 11:01 pmI have just checked online and my normal seat has been sold so, it would appear that, if your seat is still available, you should be able to get it.
Unless the FA are selling certain stands?

Re: Under 21 international
Bob Lord Stand, Jimmy McIlroy lower and bottom blocks of home bit of Cricket Field Stand are on sale currently.
Re: Under 21 international
Why end cheaper tickets yesterday
We are clearly not going to get a "big" crowd which, in itself ,is a bit disappointing
Not sure if on TV, but if so large empty sections seen within the ground will not be a good advert for us to stage future games

Re: Under 21 international
Might be why we're trying to sell the stands that are most visible to the TV cameras first! I still think there'll be a decent crowd. It's still 6 weeks before the game, lots of people will buy late/last minute.

Re: Under 21 international
Seems to me that ticket sales are going well at this early stage.
Re: Under 21 international
Great price structure initially of £10 & £1
Shame it's a monday night when the kids are at school, or I think the crowd could have been 10-15k
Still well worth going on , even if the kids only make it to 9.15 or so.
You never know, you could be watching a future world star.
I hope the crowd is a good 1, and the FA allow more under 21 games here.
I believe the England team is also using the training facilities leading upto the game.
A great advert for the club, might sway a future transfer or two.

Think it being on the Monday evening is the biggest issue.MACCA wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 12:46 pmGreat price structure initially of £10 & £1

With it only being £1 for kid, I was thinking about treating the 14 kids I have in the team I coach by taking them on, but as it's an U10 team, its too late for them.

Re: Under 21 international
Why don't you take them on for the first half, then home?
No traffic, they get home on time after seeing brilliant players and it's about right for a kids attention span.
Re: Under 21 international
I know a few doing that, just as an early teaser for up and coming young fans.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 1:40 pmWhy don't you take them on for the first half, then home?

Also might be a good game to look back on saying "you've seen him play" to the young ones in a few years time.
Really looking forward to it personally, hoping my daughter lasts a good 60 mins.
It's the last week before half term, so wont do them too much harm 1 late night.

Re: Under 21 international
I didn't manage to get our normal seats in the Bob Lord stand on row D. Had to settle
for row T in the adjoining block.
Will see what the view is like from there.

Re: Under 21 international
Longside lower now open.
Re: Under 21 international
We are in the Cricketfield Stand on Row N ... whats the view like ???? Will be well pee'd off if theres a bloody pillar in our way
Re: Under 21 international
All four sides on sale. Excellent.
Dwight McNeil hattrick to send the crowd wild and "He's one of our own" will ring round the ground.

Re: Under 21 international
Hi Bosscat. We sit in the Cricketfield stand on row N seat seats 128 129 and we have a generally good view - obviously Jimmy Mac is fairly distant but put it this way we all shouted for handball when the Bournemouth player handled at that end! There isn't a pillar near us as we are four seats from the side of the stand. I think you may have a pillar if you are around seat 80-90??? but maybe someone else will give a better opinion.
We generally stand and lean a little forward when someone is taking a corner near the Bob Lord/CFS.

Re: Under 21 international
See you there, our party is on Row L and M I think, as central as possible.
They were only selling the fisrts row of blocks when I went down for mine. Should be a decent crowd on.
Re: Under 21 international
Bugger we are 88 and 89 but should be OK hopefullychorleyhere wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 5:41 pmHi Bosscat. Re: Under 21 international
Can you pay on the gate?
Re: Under 21 international
Yeah its £45 a ticket
Re: Under 21 international
I think that these opportunities are one offs and so 'too late for them' does not apply.
Playing with their phone, in bed, isxa poor substitute.
