Can we quit quoting what people predicted. It's hardly the time to try and show people that they were incorrect and try and look superior.

1,140 coronavirus cases have now been confirmed in the UK, according to Public Health England.

This is a significant surge - 342 new cases have been diagnosed since 2pm yesterday.

I could be quoted as getting loads wrong in particular the normal increase in rates has been for numbers to double every 4 days, Italy are hoping they have slowed it to 12 days.

Here in the UK we have had two consecutive days of doubling, let’s hope that slows down.

I never said it was going to be Armageddon, I think you your perception of my posts led you to that conclusion.

I would say the current position is worse than I was arguing.

I certainly argued I didn’t think EU countries would accept lockdown, I was wrong on that to.

I'm sure if faced with a range of 60-80% you'd go with the higher. And let's face it, if the range was 1-80% the media and doommongers would just quote the 80% anyway.

Ahh...so your passing the governments advice on..in some cases? That's Good of You. Hopefully they Have it right but personally I think the Horse Has Bolted. Well he was factually correct, in fact I would argue with his strategy of keeping things open and reducing testing, it’s going to be higher than it needs to be.

Considering only 20 were serious or critical yesterday that’s not a good number, apparently they were all over 70.

I suspect your criticism isn't of inaction, it's that his actions do not match the actions that you believe he should be making.

One consolation though - if you believe that the correct answer is to shut yourself away and refuse to open the door, then not only can you still legally do that, but also there will be plenty of people still out and about working normally to look after your needs. That will actually be more comfortable than if Boris ordered everyone else to do the same.

His actions do not match the majority of similar countries or some recommendations of the WHO and similar bodies/experts.
And If there is data to support their approach it should be made available to the public.
