Re: ARTICLE: New deal for Mace
Ooops, corrected.
Been rushing having got home and seen the two contracts and then Pilky. Already changed a couple of errors on the Pilky story.
As for the story, really pleased that he's got a new deal. I've been impressed with him both before and since the injury.

I did think that, so took a screen grab just in case I’m pulled up by the Claret Inquisition.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 6:25 pmThe article will be updated and you’ll get some pelters for that negativity

Re: ARTICLE: New deal for Mace
Been a good day for the two young players. Chance for Mace to show his qualities now he is one of the senior u23 players left at the club.
At around £2 million a place I can't see us experimenting, voluntarily at least, with the 1st team midfield anytime soon though.

Re: ARTICLE: New deal for Mace
Why would anyone take a screenshot of an article with a mistake in? Really strange to do but worse to admit to obviously in my opinion, anyway excellent news this along with Lewis Richardson getting his first pro deal.
Re: ARTICLE: New deal for Mace
Last time I watched Mace play ... I was upset he didn't nutmeg an opponent

It was a joke. I don’t post very often and you just reminded me why.JarrowClaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 6:53 pmWhy would anyone take a screenshot of an article with a mistake in? What a .... he means in case anybody jumped on his back for his cheeky comment. There was a mistake indicating he had gone back on timeJarrowClaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 6:53 pmWhy would anyone take a screenshot of an article with a mistake in? Ha ha it was about the screenshot comment not the back in time one but hey if I took it wrong I apologies. I rarely comment about other people’s posts as I have no interest in the behind keyboard arguments and everyone’s opinion is relevant even if I don’t agree. The comment looked like another one of the CT bating that goes on here which I find annoying and jumped on it I apologise again.

No probs, just a misunderstanding, thanks for clearing it up.JarrowClaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 7:35 pmHa ha it was about the screenshot comment not the back in time one but hey if I took it wrong I apologies. I’m not a keyboard warrior and I have great respect for what Tony does. That said, this board should be capable of allowing a bit of humour without fear of attack, and too many posters seem to take themselves far too seriously. We are all Burnley fans at the end of the day. UTC

Good luck to him. Must have been gutted with his injury so early last season. Has come back gradually this season and obviously done enough to earn himself more time. Let's hope he can take full advantage.

Re: ARTICLE: New deal for Mace
He was playing really well last season up to the injury which he did in training. You never know how a young player will come back from that but he's come back in and impressed again this season. We've got some very good midfielders at that level although he's currently the only one not out on loan.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 10:10 amGood luck to him.
