Nigel Pearson

Post by ewanrob » Fri Feb 07, 2020 10:57 pm

Interesting piece in the Times... not at all sure the persona hes portraying is totally accurate....making himself sound quite vulnerable....never liked the man personally.

We do, sometimes they come across as the opposite when/if you ever get the opportunity to forge a friendship the opinion tends to change, it's the only real way of actually getting to know somebody to base any substance on.

Like Mourinho I suspect the real him is nothing like the character he portrays. A facade even. To protect his real identity. Fk being in the public spotlight!

Can’t watch his interviews. It’s like they’re in slow motion with a level of arrogance beyond belief....

And they’re going down....hopefully

He literally tried to strangle a player mid game and publicly humiliated a local journalist for no real reason.

Arrogant obnoxious tosser.
The guy is not a full shilling - look at his interviews or his attack on that player (how was he not banned for a long time for that ?)
Forget about this different persona away from his job - he’s a nut job.
Hope Watford get relegated and he is in the long list of their managers who gets the boot - if they do then I feel sorry for the poor journos having to interview him for the rest of the season.

I used to get a breakfast box at the Travelodge. But they're not worth it. I have a good few Leicester clients who are fans. He's not very popular with them and they dont have boxes.

He always seems very arrogant and obnoxious, if true he will soon lose the dressing room at Watford.

Can't see Troy Deeney being talked down to by the likes of him

Interestingly, Deeney has said he’s the first Watford manager to treat him like an adult since Sean Dyche. Having said that, I think he’s horrible and disrespectful.

Regarding another thread currently running on the board, he scored on his Premier League debut.

True, but if you was to ask people close to him they'd say exactly the opposite, people respond differently to different people. I've watched the interviews regarding the ostrich & others & strangling McArthur, but I wouldn't reach any conclusions until I'd personally met the person. Similar to people on here awhile ago saying Boris Johnson was a liar may well be some merit to that, but hadn't even exchanged 1 word with him but that same opinion was based.

Sociopath & psychopath are two traits which he shows in public, but I think he is more prone to schizophrenia.

It is very unusual for a man manager to be a loner at the same time.

Absolute weapon is Pearson, it wont be long before his players begin to realise what sort of goon he is and start to fall out with him, the sooner the better if they want to avoid the drop, some of the things he says in his interviews are confusing but hilarious, a very difficult guy to understand, get the straightjacket ready Watford your gunna need it.

I know a bloke who has a box at Raith Rovers and he knows the tea lady, she says that she knows without a shadow of a doubt that you are Steve1956 because you are never seen in the same place at the same time. She also says that when she sees either of you you are always being followed by mysterious characters wearing hoods and carrying crucifixes. This may also explain that when I came home from 'daan saath' yesterday there was the remnents of a burning cross in my front garden and a note saying 'death to the unbeliever'.

I’ve seen that pic before. It comes from an unreliable source. My mate told me. And he says his tea lady is never wrong.
