There are few people who collect Burnley programmes, however they will all have the majority of programmes are just looking for odd ones to complete a seasons programmes or the very rare important game(Napoli, Reims away etc) A few of them meet outside the Bob Lord entrance on matchdays. If you went on line and got a recent edition of Programme Monthly, a number of dealers advertise in their about buying collections, and youu would be very lucky if you got more than 10p a programme. Unfortunately, programme collecting is on the wain, nearly all collectors that I am aware of are all 50+. Maybe if you bundled them in seasons and put them on e-bay you could have more success.

I worked with a guy once and he was a collector and seller of programmes, he had thousands of the things, mostly stored where we worked (the boss was his son-in-law). He was knowledgeable though. Apparently the rarest programme and the most valuable (if you could ever lay hands on one which is apparently virtually impossible) is a Man Utd v Wolves programme from the late 50s. It was the game immediately after the Munich disaster that was not actually played (at least not at the time) and the programmes were recalled and incinerated, but about 5 were 'saved' and it is those that are now worth a small fortune.

I've been collecting for over 40 years ..the internet has changed everything ..

for the better if you are buying

but for the considerably worse if you are selling ..

basically you can find and buy cheaply almost anything postwar these days ..the market for everyday stuff has all but collapsed ..

but genuinely rare and most sought after still remains in the eye of the beholder ... certain antique programmes would eclipse those United v Wolves issues but yes they would be worth thousands to someone ... to me if it never appeared for general sale on a match day I wouldn't really lose any sleep over it but everyone is different collecting wise.
