Where do I see the post number? for example if somebody says see post 67 how do I know which is post 67.

I use quote as a direct reply system, as here. Occasionally you want to point others in the direction of a post of interest but not necessarily to quote it.

I have been complaining about this since it happened - after the long site shutdown and the board moved to an updated version of the hosts software - absolute folly to my mind (but then I do not know if it creates problems in the back-office) - I was aware that my direct referencing and linking of other posts either within an existing (long) thread or in a separate thread wasn't popular with CT

What bugs me is how links now open in the same tab. I'm forever reading the link, then closing the tab to find myself off the site completely. Then I'm having to graft my way all the way back to the site!! It's exhausting.

These problems have already been reported and potential solutions are being sought. It’s all beyond me so the daft reference to me not liking something is just that.
