If Taylor is out thats a big blow,
We look such a better team both going forward and defensively when Taylor plays.
His hamstring has been a problem for a lot of this season.

The full backs have both been fantastic recently.
Worrying news

Lowton and Taylor would be big losses the way they've played the last few weeks. Lowton was much improved from earlier in the season.

Thank goodness we are all but safe, and tbh after the last 3 results, Southampton is a free hit.

I'm sure it's a case of let's make sure everyone is fit and well for Bournemouth and onwards, they're the bigger games.

I’d rather Taylor fit, but on the bright side we beat Southampton 3-0 without him

Picked up in training ?...both looked very mobile and fit against Arsenal

Lowton picked his up against Arsenal. He’s rated 50/50 but if he misses out we get Bardsley back in who was playing really well. Taylor is expected to be fit. I like Pieters but we do look a better side with Taylor in.

We haven’t got any ‘free hit’ games until we get the required number of points. Why on earth would Southampton away be a free hit ?

Definitely no free hits and definitely not against a team on the same number of points

Whichever fullback plays will have a big job in stopping Redmond who is bang in form right now and responsible alongside Ings for their upturn in fortunes.

Big task for our lads but we're a different proposition now as well.

Strange how we see players and their performances.
If it wasn't for poor finishing Arsenal could have been 2 up because Charlie Taylor was playing Aubameyang (?) on. It's fine margins but we will have to watch Ings running through, he's looking really sharp.

Aubamayang should have scored twice, and in both cases he ran past Lowton to create his chances. Even the tv commentators picked up on Lowton's shortcomings in both chances. Having said that, I quite like Lowton, but we need a new rb.

Yes, he certainly skipped by Lowton, but it wouldn't have mattered if Taylor had pushed up in line. Having said that, I like Taylor and think we are a better side when he plays.

That first one is not a chance though if Taylor doesn’t play him onside. The only Burnley mentioned on that one in commentary is Taylor for playing him onside.

Did Aubamayang run past Lowton twice for his chances? Yes. Whether Taylor played him onside is irrelevant, do you think either Aubamayang or Lowton knew Taylor was playing him onside? Of course not.

From a coaching point of view Taylor was playing 3 defenders out of the game.

Re-assured by Tony that Taylor likely to start. He is starting to look like an exceptional left back. He goes past players with immense ease. Class player
