Excellent again from the club! Cheapest adult ticket works out @ £17 a game for premier league football. One query though it looks like some of the oap"s in the jmu family stand will have to move next season, as it states a child seat MUST be purchased with an adult seat in there. Bad news for some, but great news for others.

I don't think in the in circumstances they could have put them up - we have had a few slightly disappointing attendances this season, we can't afford for any ST holders to drop off. Well done to the club though

Adult/Over 65/U22 must be purchased with U18, U12 or U10 ticket within this area

It's said that every season though.
I think what it actually means is that you cant purchase a U18, U12 or U10 ticket without getting an adult/Over 65/U22 ticket - ie kids cant go in by themselves.

Otherwise, you'd be splitting up families.
In our case we have me (adult) my dad (over 65) & my brother (adult) and his son (U10).
If you could only get an adult or over 65, with a "kids" ticket, we wouldnt be able to go together

I think its disgusting that Burnley FC don't get in line and put their prices up like everyone else does...

clear discrimination by keeping prices the same where others have to pay more......

Apparently, the profit made on the sale of Twix`s negates the need for season ticket price increases.

Have to say that keeping the prices down since the last increase in 2014 is outstanding along with the direct debit facility that allows us to pay monthly with no additional cost.

I think we have a lot to thank Dave Baldwin for. He instigated the direct debit and he’s kept the prices exactly as they were when he took over.

Agree with everything as per above but just wonder why the need to increase pricing after "early bird" ?

As most of the better seats have gone why charge more for left over seats?

Makes people commit before we know what league we’re playing in next season. Those who commit with the uncertainty get a cheaper price.

I’ve seen criticism on this board ranging from why we don’t subsidise travel to issuing free scarves and snoods.

I know what I prefer. An absolute super policy by the Club.

Would be pointless having an early bird then which gets commitment for the club to a guaranteed number of season ticket holders. With the direct debit too you don’t even have to pay up front.

In the past it was all down to cash-flow and getting money in, presumably for the summer transfer activity. With ST money now being a much less significant proportion of income I'm not sure if that is still the case.

Be even better when they finally let people choose their own dd date. Or move it to a more sensible date for most.

That's not going to happen. We do it in house with no extra staff. If you wanted variable dates then they would have to employ further staff and that would then put the price up. You could, of course, take out a loan and pay it on the date of your choice but that, like wanting the club to offer it, would come at a premium.

The offer of direct debit, payable on 25th of every month is brilliant given that previously you either had to pay up front or take out a credit agreement.

There are reasons why it is done on that date but it all has to be done on the one date. It doesn't really matter when you get paid though, you just have to ensure there is money in the account to pay it.

To be honest, my various direct debits come out on all different dates every month.

Does anyone apart from you actually care? Every year, you have this complaint about "yes, we have the cheapest (or close) tickets in the Premier League; yes, we have interest free credit; but woe is me, the direct debit date isn't convenient."

And does anyone else care? It doesn't seem so. Why not start a new thread and try and drum up some support? Ask people to sign a petition, or something? And then you can go to the Board with a carefully crafted submission explaining what they are doing wrong and who is affected.

Every year the “date issue” comes up

People know that £x amount is going to be taken on the 25th so you make sure you have £x available. It’s called being an adult and being able to budget.

If it’s that much of an issue and you’re not able to, set up a second account for “bill payments” and when you get payed transfer enough money for all your direct debits to be payed from to there. It’s not that difficult really
