Valentines Day....
Valentines Day....
I asked the wife yesterday what she fancied for Valentines Day this year...
She said "Ohhhhh how about some chocolate and you know I love a surprise"
I bought her a Kinder Egg

I was all ears until you mentioned pizza. Or did you mean a big piece of sausage?

Re: Valentines Day....
For those of you that forgot, or in the dog house....
A couple of years ago I didn't do anything, got the silent treatment, so the following day popped out and bought the flowers (reduced price obviously) and put them in a vase in the dining room.
I then decided to confront the lady wife about her attitude and asked if she didn't like the flowers. Cue: What Flowers. Response, those in the dining room.
Oh I hadn't seen them, and, shall we say embarrassment and a much changed attitude.
Wouldn't necessarily recommend this more than the once.

Re: Valentines Day....
I booked a nice table for two.
Hope it goes better than last year.
It got to 10 o'clock and she'd only potted one red.

It's the little gestures today that mean more than insincere cards and bunches of tacky red roses. I'm footing the ladder while cleans out the gutters. Cupids arrow strikes again.

You should have been the one giving the silent treatment. She’d obviously not done her cleaning duties in the dining room!Claret Toni wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 4:45 pmFor those of you that forgot, or in the dog house....

Re: Valentines Day....
The most unromantic day of the year. People doing things because they are expected to do something.
