Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Top four and those seven or more points below us can win or draw while we win 10 games between now and the end of the season.
Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Not sure I want Europa again however the higher up we are the more money we get.
Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Strip out the Liverpool and Man City games and we've got ten other very winnable matches.

If city are banned is 5th a champions league slot? Only 5 points behind... every chance of closing that with our run in. Liverpool and city are the only games I don’t think we will get something from.

I want all the bottom teams that we aren’t playing to start winning now.
Except Brighton.

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
No lets get the bottom 4 or 5 gone and out of sight....
Spurs to bury Villa tomorrow would be fine for me... along with Citeh to put a nail in Hammers Coffin on Wednesday night.
Although Newcastle to beat Arsenil would be very pleasant

Not counting our chickens just yet but things are looking good for another season in the Premier League.

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
It would be amusing to see Arsenal get sucked into the relegation battle that's for sure,it's amazing how quickly fortunes can change a few weeks ago we were looking nervously over our shoulders, now we're eyeing up a potential EL spot.
Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
If we qualify for Europe our season won't end,it's a long slog I don't think we can sustain without disappointment one way our another

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Providing it doesn't impact our Premier League status, which is where the money is (which enables us to improve the club both on and off the pitch), then I hope we do finish in a Europa/Champions League place.
I certainly wouldn't take relegation though for it, like I saw mentioned yesterday I think it was.

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
We should be targeting finishing above Sheffield U after their amazing season. I reckon we can and if we do we might be in the top 6. Can’t afford any more injuries for this to happen though...

We play City between them playing ManU and Real Madrid with Chelsea to follow.
We will get something from the game.

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
2 more wins gets us to the magic 40 points, let see what the table looks like then.
Personally I don't want to ever have to look over our shoulder for the rest of the season so the cr8p teams can stay cr8p for now.

I do want Brighton to pick up just enough points between now and May, to have them needing a win on their last game to have a chance of staying up.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 3:31 pmI want all the bottom teams that we aren’t playing to start winning now.

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
i think all the commentators pundits etc were unanimous last time that our squad wasn't big enough and it disrupted our pre season etc and nearly cost us. It is though I agree quite a strange feeling not to want us to qualify, perhaps this time we will get it right if we do qualify.

if Dyche gets us in to Europe again on our budget then he needs more than a pub naming after him !

Come on Villa!
Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Still think it's a bit early to be talking about Europe. But you'd like to think if we got another go we'd get a little bit more luck in the draw than last time, and learnt a few lessons ourselves.

I find that statement crazy! What is the point if all we play for is money?
I want Europe every day of the week!

What we DO want is Arsenal to draw with Newcastle tomorrow in order that we stay 10th.

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
I want us to be sure we're staying up before any of the bottom teams start winning.
Six possibly seven more points should do it and hopefully we'll get t
here long before the end of the season and then push on for as high a position as we can.
Not sure I want us high enough to qualify foe Europe again.
Top ten would do me.

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Because the Board did not take it seriously last time and because we would struggle to cope. The EL is a joke. So many games is mad. Like I have said before, the CL is a different proposition. Financially attractive and the kudos amazing. Worth going down for the experience.
Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Whilst i don't want to tempt fate, we are surely pretty much safe now.
My focus therefore is looking at hoping that the bigger the club to go down the better for us next season.
With that in mind it would be beneficial to us if Villa and West Ham, join Norwich. So come on Spurs !

Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Until we’re mathematically safe I’d prefer those in the relegation scrap to keep losing

Bournemouth, BHA and Saints to stop up please. Just look how many pts we get against them.
Re: Do we now want the bottom teams to start winning?
Let's no forget West Ham. They quite happily give us three points when we are at our lowest ebb.summitclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 7:49 pmBournemouth, BHA and Saints to stop up please. Just look how many pts we get against them.
