Re: Park View
Yes it certainly does. Take a well regarded ale and give it the Coors treatment.

Re: Park View
Have to feel for the owners and staff here. Taking on a huge gamble like they have knowing match day will be crucial to their success. And now they (and the culvert) will be hit hard.

Re: Park View
Yes, very unfortunate for them but at the minute there's only 1 home game within the postponement period. Although I really can't see games starting again at the beginning of April.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 10:59 amHave to feel for the owners and staff here. Re: Park View
I am sure the away coaches pick up and drop off there as well though Pete? They will lose that footfall too.
Re: Park View
Yes, Accy, Boundary and the Supporters Club coaches pickup from outside the Park View but coaches leave before they open and I can't imagine them getting much trade when they drop-off there on return. They'll also miss out on the business from the U21 international.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 12:07 pmI am sure the away coaches pick up and drop off there as well though Pete? Re: Park View
Does the Park View have a 'quiet hour (or two)' when all the giant screens and sound are turned off? That would be my preferred time to visit.
They could call it 'CONVERSATION HOUR'
p.s. the same question applies the the New Brun Lea. Just because the young bar staff like the music loud the empty tables and chairs suggest their 'customers' don't.

Could well be the most short lived re-opening in recent history
