Northern rail
Il print off tomorrow’s train ticket I think. Save the hassle of any messing at the station.
You can’t make it up. They can’t even get this right.
Last time I didn’t print off myself they refused to print it in the ticket office saying it’s not their problem

Re: Northern rail
Northern Rail are just our German cousins getting back at us for historical grudges.
Important ones like, winning the World Cup.

I occasionally use the machines at Settle or Skipton... Skipton nor Settle have ever refused to print off the tickets if the machine is out of order.....cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 8:01 pmIl print off tomorrow’s train ticket I think. Save the hassle of any messing at the station.

I’m old fashioned. I prefer to have the physical ticket in case my battery goes.ClaretAndJew wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 8:07 pmGet the Northern Rail app, have your ticket on your phone. Done.

Long story. In fact very long story short. Rather than completely lose it I drove to Todmorden. They printed it off no problem.Bosscat wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 8:43 pmI occasionally use the machines at Settle or Skipton... A bit more of the long story. It was during the beast from the east. I got stuck on the back roads to Todmorden for six hours

They've lost the franchise, but whoever takes over will have the same rolling stock, the same staff, and the same timetable.

Re: Northern rail
I have to get the train into Leeds daily.
I cant think of another service/product that consistently fails to deliver what it is supposed to do.
