Atleti definitely playing the game here. Really getting at Liverpool. And defending like trojans. With the odd bit of gamesmanship. Brilliant to watch.

Re: Atletico v Liverpool
Was about to say that it's good to see Atletico are still perfecting their Burnley impression. Atletico 28% possession and Liverpool no shots on target after 44 mins.
Re: Burnletico v Liverpool
So they are Burnletico Madrid then

wonder if Liverpool are struggling tonight because it's been so easy for them domestically ? Sometimes hard to up the gears

Possibly. But Atletico especially at home are a totally different animal to anything Liverpool are likely to face. Home or abroad. They have everything I’d want in a team.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 9:28 pmwonder if Liverpool are struggling tonight because it's been so easy for them domestically ? Atleti why I hate European football. Look at them and they fall down. Very weak ref.
Brought into English football by the Italians, Spanish and French. I wish they’d never come over.

Atletico absolutely outstanding. As for Liverpool. Got exactly what they deserved for disrespecting other games to save themselves for this one. Lose against the better side and lose players to injury after resting them!

As for Simeone what a tart. Is he still trying to build back his hard man image after Beckham floored him all those years ago

Re: Atletico v Liverpool
Liverpool have well and truly been Atleticoed.
Van Dyk. ‘They got a lucky goal that wasn’t even a chance’
Robertson ‘As soon as they score they start diving and rolling round’ Van Dyk ‘yes that’s the way they play it’s Spanish football it’s their game’
Hahah. Brilliant.

Re: Atletico v Liverpool
There are some on here, and some Man Utd, Soton, Arsenal, Bournemouth, Leicester etc etc fans, players and managers who say different.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 9:57 pmWas incredible to watch. Did Liverpool have a shot on target?
Defence is equally as beautiful as attack when done like that.
I wonder what they are thought of generally in Spain, hoofball Madrid?
Re: Atletico v Liverpool
With all the detail what goes into modern day football and the planning of players, diets etc etc. Do you not think their trip abroad would have been organised in the summer? The FA royally stuffed up the replay dates and Liverpool should be congratulated at stick 2 fingers up to them.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 10:03 pmAh yes. Indeed.
