If ghosts don't exist, then how do you explain this?

There's no such thing as ghosts. That should be the end of the thread. Literally. No scientific evidence, at all. Ever.

Just like psychics, another massive fraud. Same for mediums. All a scam.

I believe that Ghosts do exist. In the same way that I believe that Dreams do.

I never thought the day would come but I agree with C & J!
Mediums are terrible frauds , the great Houdini spent his life exposing them . There’s not a shred of evidence for any paranormal or psychic activity ever . There’s usually a £1 million + on offer for any “ psychic” who can perform under controlled conditions ,it’s never been taken up.

Frauds like Acorah and Geller and preposterous shows like “ most haunted “ simply pander to the needy, desperate and gullible .

James Randi exposed Geller’s fraud. He also has the $1m prize fund set up; as yet unclaimed.

The " needy , desperate , and gullible " firmly slapped down by the Mesaageboard elite.

I must confess to being quite partial to a bit of Most Haunted, especially the Acorah days.

A image that wasn't supposed to be there, there's plenty historically taken the majority will be fake, a minority will be genuine & unexplained. If I could explain it I'd love to, I'm still waiting for you or anyone else to explain why genuine photographs are showing apparitions.

Do you think people who write books or make films about this subject might just have an ulterior motive?

Just a thought.
Yes of course I do the majority will, some people out there exist we with no ulterior motives having paranormal experiences & the alarming thing is that they have all their marbles intact & just everyday normal people & not the type to be inventing stories, very credible people adamant on what they've seen & heard.

It was winter about 2am, dark and visibility further reduced by mist. Two of us were walking/jogging along a road on the Artillery ranges at Otterburn, the area is remote and can be very bleak as it is part of the Cheviot Hills.

As we were in a good stride we weren't talking much, a loaded bergen tends to help you prioritise your oxygen.

All of a sudden from in front a muscular white dog burst out of the mist and ran past us without even acknowledging our presence.

We think it may have been from a hunt/shoot and got lost but wherever it came from it was just surreal and at the time, very spooky!

Randi is a legend and a great exposes these weird fraudulent people.

The Gellar one is spectacular. His "powers" weren't working that night. Because all the materials were provided by external sources and he had no idea where whatever it was he was looking for, was hiding (I think it was water in a sealed metal pot).

Unfortunately paranormal, ghosts, poltergeists, the shroud of Turin, God, they all rely on faith and have.. zero evidence to back them up.

People hearing or experiencing things are just hearing natural noises in their house or lucid dreaming.

It's fair to say also, that some of the photographs taken have been fully studied & fully assessed by a team of photographic experts to verify the authenticity, but what do we know eh!

My Dad died in hospital in the early hours of the morning (many years ago) after having been in a virtual coma for a week.

Later that morning my wife and I went in to my sons' room when he had woken up to gently break the sad news to him (he was only 5 and a half at the time)

Before we could say anything my son informed us in a very matter of fact way that his Grandad had been to visit him earlier, spoke to him and was sorry he had to go away"

He might have just had a dream of course but I'm certain my son wasn't making it up and truly believed what he was telling us and he had never told us about any dreams before (or afterwards) so I'm not sure why he would choose that particular morning with those particular details to do.

That just means that they haven't been manipulated digitally or had things added to them pre/post development.

It's basically saying, we don't know what it is.

It's not saying "This is definitely a ghost".

Because ghosts don't exist. Never have. Never will. That's it.

Myself, I don't much about Nikon & canon ect, I think it's pretty conclusive stuff when you've got a team of photographic experts fully studying & fully assessing the photographs to verify the authenticity, remember some of these photographs are very old when the methods of digitally enhancing weren't even heard of, it's primitive B&W you are dealing with.

Right, and other than knowing what was there at the time, there's no way to tell, but the point still stands that just because they don't know, doesn't mean it's what the believers are saying.

I'll never forget that "Astronaut" picture that was taken somewhere in England, where it looked like a little girl was next to an alien in a space suit. That was studied and concluded as real.

It turned out that it was the child's mum stood in the background or something.

My grandmother died the week before my son was born. When he was about 18 months old, he got chicken pox and was really quite poorly with it needed hospitalisation for a very high temperature. When we got home, he scared us because he kept crying out in pain at random times, but seemed to settle himself after a few minutes. The thing is, he learnt new words whilst ill, and he kept saying “manny lady” as he settled down, whilst staring into the corner of the room (same corner).

Fast forward a few months and my dad got a photo album out of the family and there were pictures of everyone in the family, including my grandmother. My son insisted that the picture was “manny lady” - someone he’d never seen before and who had died before he was born.
He's going to love Thailand when he grows up.

I can't be bothered googling it, but weren't there once a couple of little girls who fooled the world for years with photographs of fairies in their garden?

This was in the twenties or thirties, wasn't it?

long before digitally enhancing and all that malarkey.

Imho a film photograph is far easier to manipulate than a digital one. I haven’t had much experience with digital stuff but I use film quite a bit nowadays. Interestingly I’ve just tried my first batch of home developing. I know with double exposure, developing techniques “ghost” photographs can be pretty simple to make.

(Almost)Everybody has a camera on them at all times in the modern world. Yet there seems to be more photographs from yesteryear when cameras were a lot less common to todays smart phone standards.

When I was a firefighter we turned out to a chimney fire at the top of Piccadilly St. Hassy.
I was driving so stayed on the radio, sat in the cab. I could see the smoke coming out of the chimney and amongst it was the perfect image of an angel blowing a horn. Not believing in this stuff I was bemused but couldn’t work it out. After the job was over I pulled away and turned left to see a BT phone box with their logo on the side. The angel blowing its horn. The different lights flashing had some how refracted the logo directly into the smoke.

Mediums are frauds agreed
Ghosts are not real agreed
We know 0.000000000001 % of the universe

The ghosts have just become camera-shy.
Ghosts can't be photographed, the same as heat or cold can't be photographed.
But we can feel both.
Therefore by saying there are no photos of cold is saying it doesn't exist.

Unfortunately not...which is a shame he got shot in 1980.

I wont sleep tonight. Had terrible problems with BT . The monopolised mafia of the telecommunication network.

Please tell me this post isn’t serious? So what about the people claiming to have seen and heard ghosts, considering you can’t see or hear heat?

I didn't say you can't hear or see them, as I have actually seen one, what I said was that you can't photograph one.

If you can see them then why can’t you photograph them?
