Football betting - be careful - silly season is about to start

Post by RalphCoatesComb » Fri Feb 21, 2020 12:10 pm

For anyone who likes a flutter on the footy, an occasional ACCA at weekend, be careful, the silly season is upon us.

Relegation fears, Promotion jitters and "we're safe and the game doesn't matter" mentality, will all play a part from now until the end of the season.

This weekend, Bournemouth, Villa, Watford and Norwich will be scrapping for Premier League status. All are away and it would be very tempting to predict that all four will come away with nothing.

Similar situations arise at the top and bottom of the Championship.

By all means, have your ACCA, but be careful ;)

Best advice, keep you wonga in your pocket and have a pie AND A TWIX at the match

Football batting? A sort of cricket-football combo? Silly season indeed. ;)

Quite so, teams that looked dead and buried all season suddenly find some form.
Equally, at least one 'safe' team drops like a stone.
Same across all the leagues.

I was talking to Spot about that the other day. He's not been too good lately, but that's a different tail (sic).

The real problem was and still is, lack of images. My mate with the Box Brownie says he can't do it anymore after the Stewards at Old Trafford and The Ethiad seized his tackle (Painful !)

As an aside, people in our Local still harp on about "Shadowgate". One sheep, just one sheep and they never let you forget it

Not the worst bet in the world. Both fighting for their lives. Obviously hoping it is a losing bet
