MIGHTY CLARETS versus Bornmuff

Post by IanMcL » Sat Feb 22, 2020 12:48 pm

On my way. Charging at Charnock Richard.

Madge has recovered from her entanglements with Dennis and is, once again, fired up and really up for 3 points on our march to Europe.

Let's get at 'em.

Up the Clarets

As long as Madge doesn't have problems with wind ... we will be OK

Go Madge go...

So to today , going to be a very close game the Cherries are on the up we are too so i think both could cancel each other out . Now i expect goals and we will win 2-1 after going behind .
Anyway all set for today cans in the fridge and i am on my 2nd one , hope to be drunk and well happy come 5pm

Vydra's chance to prove himself.

Looking forward to seeing this, would be nice to see Brownhill make an appearance off the bench too.

Anybody really think Sean would have risked him.
No third striker on the bench so this really is Vydra's chance to show his worth (or lack of it)
Hope he has a stormer and keeps Woody out once he is fit

I think like most of us that Wood wasn't close to be fit .
Now Mr Vydra this is your chance as you can take it or lose it .

Glad for Vydra, hope he gets a couple. Bench looking stronger, would like to see Brownhill and JBG get a run out when we're 4-0 up.

Let's get the positive vibes for him and ensure he takes it.
Next few games could be his "last ditch saloon" at this club

The jury is out with me as i think he looked off the pace of the game last week , Not Dyche fit if you know what i mean .

Who else on our squad would be "Dyche fit" after 34 seconds of football in 18 months.

When Vydra came on last week he looked totally lost but with J Rods help he got more and more into the game and our system. Be interesting to see if he can maintain that improvement and form a good partnership with Jay

Garth Crooks on Final Score has just suggested that Eddie would be doing as well at Burnley as Dyche if the managers positions were reversed - don't see it myself as he wouldn't have had the budget he wanted (not to mention he would not have got us promoted either - on both occasions)
