Which Bournemouth players would you take?
If they go down I’d be interested in Billing and Fraser.
Poor game for Fraser when he came on but I think she would suit us. Billing is a box to box midfielder with some aggression that I like to see.

I thought Ramsdale had a very good game, probably better than Pope's. Only 21, could see him get a cap If he keep playing at this level.
Doubt he'd want to sit on our bench though.

Billing is good but very un dyche like. Fraser would be incredible for us but probably too expensive. Ramsdale their keeper would be a good shout if pope goes in the summer (and they go down).

Keepers quite good. My mate pointed it out and I agree. Between pope, ramsdale and Henderson for the England shirt for me.
Billings was at Hudds wasn’t he? Anyway, looks busy enough to be interesting our manager I would’ve thought.

Billing just looks clumsy to me, don't think he's worth what Bournemouth paid for him
Fraser has admitted to a poor attitude after having his head turned this season. On balance I'd have him but think there'll be others interested.
Jefferson Lerma is one I'd want. Ruled out through injury today but usually impresses in a defensive midfield role when I've seen them on telly.
Josh King is also very good, but again would surely interest others if they go down.
Finally, Adam Smith might be worth considering for our right back slot. Played left back today but is usually good on the right

Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
I would certainly like to see Billing here.
It was nice to see that Ramsdale went up to Jimmy Mac at the final whistle
and applauded them. That takes some doing to the home fans when you've just
been played off the park. Credit to the young man.

Isn't Fraser's contract up in summer? Not expensive at all...... but probable interest from bigger/wealthier clubs, as would Brooks & the Wilson twins. Ramsdale maybe, but clubs who don't get Pope would probably be interested in Ramsdale or Henderson.Iloveyoubrady wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 11:10 pmBilling is good but very un dyche like. Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
Ramsdale, Brooks, King, Wilson, Fraser, Lerma, Stacey, Ake.
They’re a good side going through a tough spell, I was really impressed with Brooks last year but I haven’t seen him play this season at all. Their defence without Ake is terrible.

Brookes by a mile but I doubt we would be able to afford him. I for one really hope they stay up though, our record against them is far better than it is against the other potential relegation candidates

Let me remind you Heaton conceded I believe 80+ goals in the Championship before we signed him and Pope was in a **** poor relegated Charlton side who we put 7 past that season.tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 1:21 amRamsadale - "ill go down for every shot, please don't suss me?"

It’s pretty obvious the goalkeeper is irrelevant when the 10 in front of him don’t offer the required protection.

Ake to replace Gibson.
I like Billing but he could be going down two seasons running. We beat that jinx with Robbie Brady but I’ll pass this time.

Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
Brooks has had a long term injury. That's one of the reasons why Bournemouth are where they are.
I've been watching him and Harry Wilson since under 18s at international level. Wilson would be OK for us, but Brooks has always looked a class above.
Ake will end up somewhere like man u I'd have thought. The one not mentioned above that we could do with to replace Gibson is Chris mepham. He is the epitome of a dyche type player. I saw him last season playing for Brentford at Norwich. They were losing 2-0 in the 88th minute and had gone up for a corner. Norwich broke away but he raced back from pretty much furthest away and overtook every other teammate and broke down the attack after it had been slowed up by the 2 men left on the half way line.
That sort of commitment when you pretty much know you are stuffed suggests he might be an eventual replacement for Ben. Pretty decent on the ball, and, of course out injured yesterday.
Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
Ake is being linked with Chelsea and Spurs, not a chance he'd come to sit on our bench. I know Brooks hasn't featured this season yet but liked the look of him last year.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 7:26 amAke to replace Gibson.

1st goal - Vydra gave him no chance
2nd goal - penalty
3rd goal - McNeill gave him no chance
On the other hand he saved at least 4 good shots on target. You're wrong

Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
Ramsdale 3 what should have been result influencing saves. Pope made 2, and we got a result from it.
Ramsdale were just as big, just a shame those infront ( and VAR ha ha ha ) let him down.
Also remember he's not been "Mercered"
Brooks, just like McNeil, but not sure on his defensive game, but I'd love the right side to be as creative as the left.
Billing, big strong and covers the ground quickly and would compliment us nicely.
50m for all 3, thank you bye
( that's after Pope leaves for 50m )

Fraser will be off to a top side. Without him and brooks they are struggling big time even with two decent strikers.
Brooks is outstanding.

Yep Brooks is a class act
Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
Ake seems to be injured an awful lot too, Cook and Francis have been great at this level for Bournemouth but they look past it. Fraser running down his contract, looks ineffective and uncommitted. They have a really good Premier League team when they get their best players on the pitch.timshorts wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 7:32 amBrooks has had a long term injury. Solanke would be a no-brainer in that it would suggest zero neural activity.

Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
I doubt they'll get relegated only because the four teams below them are so bad at present and have difficult fixtures ahead.
Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
Ramsdale is a good young keeper. Josh King is a powerful wide player.
Ake is getting better.
Add to our bench, for sure.

Not one of them would fit in a Burnley team
Re: Which Bournemouth players would you take?
Weren't Man U. interested in Josh King?
Can't see either him or Callum Wilson on our radar either as they will interest bigger clubs than us.

More than that, they made offers for him but Bournemouth turned them down. He wanted to go too.
Biggest problem with King is he gets too many injuries.
Looking at the Bournemouth squad you’d have to say Brooks and Aké. I do like the keeper too from what I’ve seen.

Well he seemed to have a good enough game for both Joe Hart and Billy Mercer to make a point of going up to him and giving him praise after the final whistle. Isn’t Lerma that lunatic who gets sent off pretty much every week? Can’t see Dyche wanting someone with his disciplinary record.ksrclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 11:17 pmBilling just looks clumsy to me, don't think he's worth what Bournemouth paid for him

Hasn't he had 2 bans for red cards & 1 for 5 yellows before Xmas?
Not Dyche's type of player.........gives too much squad rotation
