Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
Looks like the title race is back on.
Historic collapse underway, last seen since Keegan lost it with the Mags.
Citeh will be on their shirt tails by the time we beat 'em at Anfield.
Well... it COULD happen...

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
Hush, Eddie!
I want them to be unbeaten when we we roll up and win!
It'll be a far more notable result then
Hell, it may even improve the BBCs geography!

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
Keeper's been a problem all season for West Ham no matter who's between the sticks,it must unsettle the defence when you don't have confidence in your stopper. The issue for them is his understudy is even worse,as evidenced by his performance at Turf Moor.

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
Given the awful run-ins of all three clubs, it may well be heading for a relegation
scenario of two from Bournemouth, Villa and WHU.
Think Pearson might just drag Watford over the line.

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
Nervy for the whole game for Liverpool, their defence was shaky particularly at set-pieces,i'm sure Sean and our coaching staff will have noted this.
It's not the 1st time they've struggled this term, but once again they claim the 3 points, and equal Man City's 18 match winning streak in the process.
Liverpool have won their last 21 home Premier League games, equalling the English top-flight record for consecutive home wins, set by the Reds between January and December 1972 under Bill Shankly.
These numbers are incredible they just keep reeling off win after win,no matter how well or badly they play, that's a sign of champions which they're undoubtedly going to become,it's just a of when not if,and has been for a while.

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
Brilliant game to watch! Hammers gave 'Pool a game, but 'Pool did what they've been doing all season long.......never gave up
And the icing on the cake is it kept West Ham down there

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
We've as good a chance as anyone, bar Man city, to get points there, when you see how well West ham played.

Pope gave us belief a few weeks ago with his penalty save v Leicester. Fabianski provided similar for Liverpool tonight who were going nowhere before his howler.

Well, we’re just going to have to show them how it’s done in a few weeks time.

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham
Back then, the great Liverpool sides of the 70's/80s had a knack of winning games, even when having their off days.
It is a hallmark of great teams.

Absolutely. West Ham had them trembling every deadball and we are up there with the very best at that.
