Dael Fry

Post by Tricky Trevor » Mon Feb 24, 2020 4:05 pm

M’boro Gazette reporting Boro have slapped a £25m price tag on Fry to fend off Burnley.
That should do it, no chance he’s worth that. Although it reads like a made up press figure.

Their current league position suggests a possibility of him playing at a different level next season whatever price tag they put on him. Clubs at the bottom beginning to win now

I don't think he will come Burnley now that he's training with his buddy Gibson. Forget that one - even at a reasonable price - which 25 mil is certainly not.

Just recirculating old news - that was the story from the summer transfer window

After speaking to Gibson, I wouldn’t imagine he’d want to come here.

Been told by a Boro fan that he was excellent last season and nowhere near the same player this season.

Yes, they're also recirculating the Kalvin Phillips story with the same £25m valuation, totally ignoring the likelihood of Leeds being promoted meaning, as a fan, he'd probably want to stay around for a season....... unless a big-hitter comes calling.

Can't see us paying £25m for Fry, at that price he'd have to be a guaranteed starter & can't see Boro accepting £15m in add-ons!

You've only got to win a few games to wake up the press. All ********
