Saw that yesterday but I tookit with a pinch of salt. I wonder if the people who wrote it are willing to put a bet on? I doubt it. Football is a funny old game as Cloughie once said. :)

I'm hoping for more than 13 points for the Clarets.

Plenty of winnable games coming up and the squad will only get stronger with Barnes and Wood coming back from injury.

First off, why aren't all these statos multi-millionares from having a bet on all the accurate predictions they make? Secondly they seem to be expecting minor miracles of West 'Aam from what is a horrendous run-in. Do they think that all their players are going to turn into Messi?

Utter b*ll*cks.

anywhere from 17th upwards will do for me. If we perform as we have in the first 27 matches we should finish on 52points but in 17-18 season I think we got 18 from the last 11 games.

I think that we now have a squad that believes in themselves a bit more than they did then.

Put it this way, Wet Spam scared Liverpool last night. I think we can scare them a bit more.

The bottom half is pretty much as per the bookies have it- except they have WHU below Watford (but ahead of Norwich, Villa and Bournemouth).

It's all fairly sensible but (as often happens) there will likely be at least one team performing significantly better or worse than expected/predicted.

West Ham (I imagine) played without fear last night knowing that this was a free hit. We can do the same against Liverpool and City. The great thing about these games is there are still only 3 points at stake and they don't usually involve '6 pointers'. West Ham are doomed, doomed I tell thee. Anyone who says otherwise is totally wrong and not to be classed as altogether sane.

Don't argue - I'm not listening, I'm really not listening. Doo doo da doo doo. Fingers in ears - not listening.

I think West Ham’s season hangs on their game on Saturday against Southampton, if they win that it will be a massive confidence boost, if they lose it their moral could hit rock bottom

Some of them are, Brighton owner Tony Bloom, for example.

i would love a trip areound Europe again but apart from that a top half finish should be achievable from here on in. Tenth and top half is so much better than 11th or below

Their morals hit rock bottom? Like their porno-hawking owners’ morals?

Yes, as is Brentford's owner who worked for Bloom's betting syndicate before going it alone.

I didn't know this. Can pro gamblers own football clubs then? I would have thought some rule would have prevented them from doing so.

A win on Saturday all but guarantees 13th place or higher as we'll be 9 points clear of 14th.

I loved Cloughie's famous 'it only takes a second to score a goal young man'.

Southampton are decent on the road, and are like ourselves pretty much safe,so they can play with freedom,i can see more goals for Danny this weekend :) West Ham played well last night, but yet again they squandered a winning position,as they've done already several times this season, that usually leads to relegation.

Also i wonder who'll be in goal for the hammers, big call for Davie Moyes after Fabianski's nightmare at Anfield.

My favourite was Cloughie after joining Leeds ...

"As far as I'm concerned you can throw all those medals you've won in the bin, because you won them all by cheating" - to the Leeds United players on his first day as manager.

Another....

"They say Rome wasn't built in a day, but I wasn't on that particular job".

Classics 👍😎👍
