It was said on here that Sean Dyche had been critical of Matej Vydra's demeanour at training; in particular that he didn't smile enough.
Well, Matej's laughing now, and no surprise, but just before kick-off against Bournemouth Sean was gesturing to someone in our forward line (presumably Vydra) using his hands to indicate a smiling movement and clearly called out 'Smile".
I haven't seen it referred to on here so I had another look at the replay to make sure I had seen it happen and, sure enough, I was right.
Take another bow Mr.Dyche.

Fantastic man manager.

Only 11 players can play at any one time and the benefits of having an established starting 11 cannot be underestimated. How many times have we seen a player wait a long time for their chance but then grab it with both hands when it comes along.

You hear about toxic cliques that form at clubs that disrupt and try to drive the manager out the club.

You could never imagine that happening on Sean’s watch. We are privileged to have him and long may it continue.

Vydras smile said it all when he got his goal against Bouremouth, its a massive boost for him, and you could see just how much the rest of the lads felt for him, two cracking goals in two games can only be great for his ego, i think he will get his chance for a few more starts now and it has given us a refreshing style of play and a bit more pace up front, VAR played a part in our win but Vyds goal and effort was brilliant, lets give the toon a lesson on Saturday and hope Vyd can come up with another stunner.
