Urinating in the basin
Urinating in the basin
I’ll try again.
What gives people the right to urinate in the wash basin where others are meant to wash their hands.
I can only guess as to why the previous attempt was removed, I just don’t understand why

Of course urine is sterile on the assumption that the ‘offender’ doesn’t have any infections. So hardly the crime of the century.

So if somebody pees in the sink you are about to wash your hands in, you are not bothered and would wash your hands/face with no complaints....box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 8:45 pmOf course urine is sterile on the assumption that the ‘offender’ doesn’t have any infections. Weird to see people condoning it. It is disgusting and you’ve got to have a very low level of self respect to do it. We do have some scvm bag fans.

If this was done on here earlier,
And is now being done again, is it
To pee,
Or not to pee?
That is the question.

Yes. Posters saying who cares, and hardly the crime of the century are condoning this. As were some posts on the other thread. And clearly if a number of people have urinated in the sink then some think that this behaviour is acceptable.

Re: Urinating in the basin
I'm sorry, last night you was advising me not to pick dog excrement up where children play & now there's a big drama about somebody urinating where they shouldnt
Re: Urinating in the basin
If the wifes using the loo and you're absolutely busting you go in the sink.
Aim for the hole, most goes in, then you rinse it.
Not sure of the issue.
Bet the OP denies he has a pee in the bath or shower too.

Re: Urinating in the basin
What are you on about? Look, I can’t be bothered getting into another ‘discussion’ with you because you’re really bad at it.
Someone has called out people for peeing in a sink, others, most notably cutsy1786 have condoned it. He’s obviously not joking.
Re: Urinating in the basin
The OP will happily urinate in his own shower, as it saves water. However, this piece of excrement was urinating in a public wash basin where others are expected to use it to wash their hands. Unless anyone hasn’t noticed, there is a potential viral pandemic sweeping across the planet, and the virus is spread through droplets of bodily fluids.
Just consider that for a moment

If all the urinals were occupied & queues were waiting & somebody was really really desperate, had they urinated on the floor it's a potential slip hazard, never thought of that.

Re: Urinating in the basin
Well you did just condone p!ssing in the sink. I just quoted you doing it. Like I say, you’re not very good at this so why are you bothering? I can guarantee that if I was the one condoning this you’d be attempting to argue against me because you’re playing the man instead of the ball.Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 9:20 pmNo of course not, only if the alternative is the floor, not everything's so black & white.
Re: Urinating in the basin
Of course, I do understand the real issue here. Which is that as football supporters we’re treated like animals within most grounds and it’s no surprise that some react and also act like them too. There is never enough toilet facilities in most grounds, and never enough concourse space to get to them either. It really is unacceptable. To be honest, we’ve had discussions about the safety within grounds, and the facilities really are poor.

Only on this board would you get people arguing that “wazzing” in the sink is ok.
No surprise Cutsy in favour of it with all the excrement that used to come out of his mouth somebody else's urine on his hands is actually a bit of a treat.

Re: Urinating in the basin
I would be interested to see his reaction to someone washing their bits in the sink of the staff toilets at his workplace.
Re: Urinating in the basin
When washing my hands, I turn on the tap, add soap to my hands, rub hands together for several seconds, cup water from the tap, rub further, then rinse off all soap, turn tap off, before going to dry.Zlatan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 9:13 pmThe OP will happily urinate in his own shower, as it saves water. Not sure what effect someone having had a wee in the sink has on my hands what so ever.
Yes its rude and unpleasant, but if you're desperate to the point of getting caught short, it's the next best thing to the loo, and far better than the floor.
How does someone elses urine get on your hands?

Re: Urinating in the basin
No, it’s disgusting and abhorrent to do. Perhaps if the chap who did it hadn’t guzzled a few bottles of beer in a short space of time he wouldn’t have been caught short and desperate to goMACCA wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 9:30 pmWhen washing my hands, I turn on the tap, add soap to my hands, rub hands together for several seconds, cup water from the tap, rub further, then rinse off all soap, turn tap off, before going to dry.

EDIT - to add, he didn’t actually reach the sink, but proceeded to urinate across the whole side where the wash basin was - it was dripping to the floor. In the cramped conditions there was no way I was going near it to attempt to wash my hands as I would have got his fluids all over me if I had tried.
Perhaps just going on the floor would have been a better option, or like I said, learn to handle his drink

Re: Urinating in the basin
I’m guessing by the water hitting the urine on the surface of the sink and splashing up. Either that or maybe you’re right that p!ssing in the sink of a public toilet is hygienic.MACCA wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 9:30 pmWhen washing my hands, I turn on the tap, add soap to my hands, rub hands together for several seconds, cup water from the tap, rub further, then rinse off all soap, turn tap off, before going to dry.

Feck me - he just holds it till there is a free urinal. He’s not 3 year old.
What happens if he wants a no 2 and the toilets are full ?

Re: Urinating in the basin
It is you're correct, but I wouldn't know if 101 blokes had a pee in the sink before I used it, nor would it make any difference as I don't ( and I never see any one else ) wiping there hands on the porcelain sink whilst washing them.
My hands touch the tap, the soap box and that's it.
And you dont need to guzzle a few beers in a short space of time to be caught short. Theres often a 10 minute queue for the loo at the Turf, regardless and I don't drink on there.
But If you wait until HT to avoid missing the game or disrupting fellow fans, you could spend 15/20 minutes on a trip to the loo. It's easy to see why someone could get caught short.

I agree with you, but the fact remains you need to go you need to go, I know my own bladder tolerance & how long I can hold it for, some can't hold it while others could hold for hrs if they had do, you seem to think bladders are all the same.

Serious point. Sorry to be boring but wasn’t it quicker with trough urinals as against individual ones. Or are modern men afraid of getting their John Thomas eyeballed?
