Extraordinary goal for Calvert-Lewin after one minute. Degea with loads of time kicks the ball straight against Everton player to rebound into the net.

Pickford f.cks up as usual, should have saved it. Garragher said," England manager watching, well Pickford's not impressing anybody with that.......should have been an easy save"

Re: Today's games
Roy Keane just said at half time (re Pickford) "I don't care what any one says, he is not a good goalkeeper".
Re: Today's games
If ever there was an advert for NOT playing it out from the back... this is it DeDea and Pitchfork shown up big time.
Re: Today's games
Roy Keane "You need a good keeper, he not a good keeper"
Host: "But he is England's keeper!"

Another nail!

Re: Today's games
Roy Keane absolutely tore Pickford to pieces.
RK“Don’t care what anybody says Jordon Pickford is not a good goalkeeper”
DJ “He’s England’s No 1”
RK “I am not bothered”
Stats say Pickford and De Gea both made 7 errors that have led to goals this season, the highest in the Prem!

Re: Today's games
Apart from Keane, Souness said Pickford had gone down like a sack of King Edwards.

Not really. He comes across as miserable, humourless, and highly aggressive; an all round unpleasant bloke. Would be happy never to see him on TV again.

Re: Today's games
Kavanagh is never a PL referee. I can’t remember one half decent performance from him and some of his VAR decisions have been baffling.
The handball against Fred after it comes off his knee is shocking. He was 5 yds away and let Sigurdsson make the decision.

Re: Today's games
I'm sure Southgate won't want to be changing his number one so soon before a major tournament but I'm struggling to see how he can justify starting Pickford in England's next international. Looked like he was watching a replay of Pickford's mistake on a phone in the stand and he grimaced. It's got to the point where he can't ignore the respective and contrasting form of Pickford and Pope.

Wan-Bissaka is never a £40m player. Very good defensively but nothing going forward.

Does a full back exist that is good going forward and good defensively these days?Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:46 pmWan-Bissaka is never a £40m player. Very good defensively but nothing going forward.

Re: Today's games
Very harsh VAR costs Everton the game.
Definitely in front of De Gea but not in his line of sight.

Didn't think you could be off side if it came off a defender.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:54 pmVery harsh VAR costs Everton the game.
