1920/21 centenary coming up...
With Liverpools record being examined now that it is at an end...it brings to the fore this remarkable season we had 100 years ago next season. 30 games unbeaten in a season and league champions..only beaten by Arsenals invincible season. With next season being the centenary are there any plans to commemorate this?

The club will no doubt make a passing comment in a programme. If they do anything with the strip it will be minimal, will have been an afterthought, and they’ll get the sock colour wrong - we played in black socks with claret top I believe.
We should make a big statement about this. Those boys are heroes within our history. A statue, or a huge image on one of the stands perhaps. Maybe on the corner stands - I saw something of Facebook a while ago suggesting this. What would a statue of the manager back then cost, £100K?

This was the image online. An idea for renaming one of the corner stands the Champions stand. With the 1960 title being 60 years this season you could have a picture on each side.

Surely must be some recognition of what was a remarkable season. Three defeats to begin before that amazing 30 games unbeaten run paved the way for the League Championship success. Everything about that ten year period beginning in 1910 when we nicked Aston Villa's colours, then Tommy Boyle captains the side to an FA Cup win in 1914, off to fight for his country in WW1 where he suffers life threatening injuries only to return to captain the team to the League Championship in 1920/21.
A truly remarkable period in our history that must be remembered in an appropriate way next season.

Ive always thought since the Burnley FC exhibition at Towneley back in 2000, that we need a permanent exhibition at Burnley so fans can go and see things like the trophy cabinet in the Bob Lord. A museum as several Premier League sides have would be a fitting tribute to our heroes of the past and present. We didn't have the money then. We have now.
