Tottenham Hotspur prediction

Post by Wile E Coyote » Mon Mar 02, 2020 6:04 pm

2-1 win for us. Been a fantastic run of games recently, and we can take another 3 points from spurs this weekend.
Mourhino seems a lot more relaxed thesedays, but it hasn't permeated through to his players. They won't get the better of us.
vydra double before he's subbed off after two minutes.

Think we can manage a 2-0 win, though would be quite happy with a draw (preferably a score draw).

Get at them from the kick-off, no poncing about in the first few mins as we did v. Arsenal. Get them rattled, complaining and thoroughly discouraged. ******* Mourhino off big-time will be the icing on the cake.

I'll go with 1-1 but can easily see us winning this one. They've lost three in a row and play Norwich in the cup on Wednesday. Seems ripe for a Mourinho meltdown.

I was confident we could turn over Newcastle but the performance wasn’t great.

Thinking 1-1, but head wants 2-0.

Tight performance and hope for the run of the green.

Tottenham will rock up thinking their the bogs dollocks after the 5-0 win at theirs.

Hard call as i think you know what you will get with the Clarets but as for Spurs you never know if they will turn up or not . Go on go for a 3-1 win

I'd be happy with a draw as long as we play better than we did against Newcastle.
Having said that we'd have to play better than against Newcastle otherwise I don't think we'll even get a draw.
2-2 and an entertaining game.

0-2

Tottenham have an appalling defensive record, something like 4 clean sheets in the last 40 games I think I read, somehow they'll most probably get their 2nd against us this season.

I think we will end up with a sh1t ref and Mourinho will have one of his park the bus games where we ping the ball onto the CB heads all afternoon :(

Despite them missing two vital strikers they're still a good side and will be hungry to get back to winning ways and keep their top 4 spot. Lucas will be a huge threat and if Lamela and Lo Celso play too that's two excellent, tricky players. The latter in particular looks great.

Defensively they can be suspect. But Lloris is a world class keeper.

I'd take a draw.

"They’ll be aiming to get back to winning ways against Wolves today but Gazzaniga replaces Lloris in goal.

Tottenham confirmed before kick-off that Lloris was out with a groin injury.

But Mourinho has suggested it isn’t a long-term problem for his first-choice goalkeeper.

“Hugo Lloris doesn't feel in a condition to play,” Mourinho said."

On paper they're a good side, but the wheels have come off especially since Son's injury,we're on a roll and they can definitely be dodgy at the back, and it's by no means certain Lloris will play he's carrying a groin injury, which is why he was absent in their defeat at the weekend.

This is a game we need to win if we're going to have realistic ambitions of pushing for a European place, and we will edge it 2-1.

I can't see Spurs finishing top 4,Wolves have more chance of catching Chelsea than they do,or even Man Utd if they get their act together on a regular basis.

I think we'd stand a fair chance of beating them on our present form, but kane and son missing hugely improves our chances.

Wondering if Alli will be available.
He has until this Thursday regarding the FA charge against him.
Will the hearing be this Friday?
I presume he will be banned for a game at least.

I think it all depends on the team Sean picks. If we revert to Wood up front, I think we will play into Moanrinho's hands. He will be ready for that, but if we keep Vydra and JayRod up front and play fast attacking football, I think we could beat them rather easily.

With Wood 0-1
With Vydra 3-1

Certainly would be happy with a point, but going 0-2 Spurs.

Spurs are possibly the most unpredictable side in the PL, certainly out of the 'top' sides. We have beaten them a couple of times at the Turf though and I can see a decent result if they have an off day. In the PL era historically it's anyone's game. At home it is honours even with 2 wins each and 2 draws. And we are a better side now than at any time in that era. Maybe a 1-0 to us. With their depleted forward line and our defence I cannot see them scoring many, if any.

Cue a 5-0 thrashing.

Have we ever beaten Moanrinho?
I'd take a draw, keep the unbeaten streak going.........Cheeky 2-1 win it is then.
J-Rod to score the winner.
