Neither would I mate - I've been hassling my wife to move out to Spain for years but she wanted to stay for her dad but he is sadly gone now just over a year ago so it's not beyond the realms. Be happy mate.

No its St Andrew's about 12 mile up the coast, the west shore a beach that just goes on and on forever and is bordered by Tentsmuir forest an absolutely beautiful part of Scotland.

If anyone is having trouble with upload file size you can use free resizing app image size (on both android and apple) works up to a max input of 6000 pixels on either axis, but if you have a 3:2 ratio image you could go up to 6000 x 9000 pixels. A great tool anyway for image quality. But also good for reducing size.

Some lovely photos there but the country side around Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale is just as nice
The weather in Scotland is no different than ours, just has wet, cold and damp

Ive lived in the Rossendale Valley all my life buddy, its a beautiful place to live with some fantastic hill walks,my only qualm about your post is,the East Nuek of Fife has its own micro climate and the weather is not like Rossendales at all,the west coast of Scotland gets terrible weather the east coast gets lovely weather,i was sceptical when my wife told me the east coast gets lovely weather when we decided to move here, its a myth that the Scottish weather is shite.....honestly!!

You’ve got me. I love walking the next valley North, from Llyn Ogwen. Tryfan, the Glyders and the Devils kitchen. If I can find it I have a photo on the Cannon on Tryfan I’ll post. I got up there and it was blowing a gale, hairier than I expected.

here is the Cannon photo I mentioned higher up. The drop was a lot more than I'd anticipated. I have another doing the step across between Adam & Eve, on Tryfan summit, again you wouldn't want to slip off to the East. The mountain in front is Y Garn our way off after super days up there.
